A great camp indeed!!!

Been away for 4 days. Ermm.. I should say haven't been blogging for a week or so since my last post about Fondue Cheese.. *yumyum* might be going there again with Jing, Chia Wei, and Wei Ching. Suppose to be a CG Christmas dinner but some of my CG member not free and some will be away for holiday. Well, I'll be away too. Going Penang for Christmas. Thats why we need to have the Christmas dinner before I leave.
Anyway, came back from Youth Camp on Sunday (Dec 18, 05). It was indeed a great camp. Our theme is Going BEYOND (pushing FORWARD, reaching HIGHER, being TRANSFORMED). Our camp speaker, Pr. Paul & Karen Hughes are from Australia but settle down in Penang. His church is called theRealm @ Chulia Street. Maybe can go visit them whenever I'm there for the weekend. ^_^
What I've learn through this camp was to move in the Holy Spirit. We must first be 'Loyal' to God and 'Seperate' ourselves with the worldly desire. Most of the sessions are basically ministry time. Teaches us how to prophesy and pray for one another. How to build up our faith and trust level. Being able to GO BEYOND our own limit. Whats the one thing that you desire to GO BEYOND?
I receive 2 prophecy, both are from Karen Hughes. And Pr. Hock (NewLife Youth pastor) prayed for me too.. thats during the concert that we had on Sat evening. All of the prayer and prophecies are mostly true. Been having difficulty in finance (both myself and family), and been wanting to walk out of my past... and know what... Pr Karen said that I'm now walking in the desert and trying to walk away from past. And she mention that I'm like the women with the issue of blood, been wanting to touch Jesus cloak, it'll be enough for me by just touching His cloak. As for Pr Hock, he prayed for a clearer vision in my life, seeking guidance or something like that.. hehe..
Oh ya.. I forgot one thing.. we have over 150 people register for this camp, some comes from our own daughter church like Shah Alam and Cheras, Zoe Christian Fellowship, Salvation Army, theRealm (Pr Paul's members), 2 Cambodians, 1 Thailand and 1 guy from Terengganu that found out about this Camp on the website. Guess its not by accident that all this people came for the camp... I'm sure God shows up in one way or another. Right!
Overall, the camp was just AWESOME. Special thanks to the Committee members that organise it. Getting to know more friends from different places and getting soaked up in God presence. God anointing was tremendously great. Pr Paul & Karen also teach us how to release God's anointing and power upon those who we pray for and get them slain in God's presence. Like the more you give, the more you'll receive.
Ok, less words here... will show you some photos of the camp on my next blog cos there's something wrong with the connection. Abit cacat. ^_^

Jesus is better than santa...

This post taken from Pr Paul & Karen's blog
Santa lives at the North Pole. JESUS is everywhere.
Santa rides in a sleigh. JESUS rides on the wind and walks on the water.
Santa comes but once a year. JESUS is an ever present help.
Santa fills your stockings with goodies. JESUS supplies all your needs.
Santa comes down your chimney uninvited. JESUS stands at your door and knock.. and then enters your heart.
You have to stand in line to see Santa. JESUS is as close as the mention of His name.
Santa lets you sit on his lap. JESUS lets you rest in His arms.
Santa doesn't know your name, all he can say is "Hi little boy or girl, What's your name?"
JESUS knew our name before we did.Not only does He know our name, He knows our address too. He knows our history and future and He even knows how many hairs are on our heads.
Santa has a belly like a bowl full of jelly. JESUS has a heart full of love.
All Santa can offer is HO HO HO. JESUS offers health, help and hope.
Santa says "You better not cry". JESUS says "Cast all your cares on me for I care for you. Santa's little helpers make toys. JESUS makes new life, mends wounded hearts, repairs broken homes and builds mansions.
Santa may make you chuckle. JESUS gives you joy that is your strength.
While Santa puts gifts under your tree, JESUS became our gift and died on the tree.

It's obvious there is really no comparison. We need to remember WHO Christmas is all about. We need to put Christ back in Christmas. Jesus is still the reason for the season.Yes, Jesus is better, He is even better than Santa Claus!

Fondue House *yum**yum*

Last Monday (Nov 28, 05)... I went for a seafood dinner with some of my CG member, suppose there's 7 of us but then 1 of our member last minute couldn't make it and the other fren.. she came but she didn't eat. So... 5 gals ordered... *drums rolling* 3 different type of crabs (1kg each, marmite crab, cheese crab n salty egg crab), 1 vege, 1 prawn, 1 plate of mantau (12pcs), and a plate of hokkien noodle (4person). All the food is just nice for 7 ppl but then... 5 of us have to finish all 7 ppl's food. Glutony man. haha.
Oh ya.. me and Jing Jing was talking about the Cheese steamboat that we both saw on astro tv. Which is in Hong Kong la. And we were like wondering whether Msia have this kind of food around or not.. and wanting to try it. And guess what, on the next day... (tue), was chatting with a fren on MSN and she just pop me with a msg saying about Fondue House. Amazing how God arranged such plan huh! So I got all excited and telling Jing Jing that there is a place called Fondue House in Sri Hartamas. And I sort of drag my fren to go eat with me... *I know.. its fattening... but its delicious la* hehe.. We went on Saturday (Dec 3) for lunch. Feel abit "ulu" cos new to that place. The food is just... GREAT! especially the dessert... *mouth watering* hehe..
OK OK... words aside... will let u enjoy the picture that I took.. not much though cos I felt weird taking pic of the food. Like I just came out from a kampung. ^_^

Is there such a guy in this world?

I got this from my friendster's bulletin board... haven't been checking it until this morning...

= I'm the guy who will text you every single morning and tell you good morning and every single night to tell you sweet dreams.
= I'm the guy who will text you and tell you "I Love You and you make me smile" just because it's true.
= I'm the guy who will blindfold you and take you to the beach, let you run your toes through the sand and then make you guess where we are.
= I'm the guy who will show up at your games (competitions or meetings) without you knowing, just to surprise you.
= I'm the guy who will hold you when you are crying and wipe away your tears.
= I'm the guy who still thinks that you're beautiful even without makeup but instead, in sweat and a big t-shirt.
= I'm the guy who won't pressure you to do things you dont want to.
= I'm the guy who will show up at your house with soup and a movie when you aren't feeling well.
= I'm the guy who kisses you on the forehead.
= I'm the guy who doesnt kiss and tell.
= I'm the guy who actually listens to you when you talk.
= I'm the guy who's excited all day because I'm looking forward to our date that night.
= I'm the guy who is contented to just be able to hold you and wants nothing more.
= I'm the guy who can't help but smile when you walk into the room.
= I'm the guy who is perfectly happy with staying in and watching movies and cuddling.
= I'm the guy who won't lie to you about where I'm going or where I've been or who I've been with.
= I'm the guy who gets butterflies when I hears your name.
= I'm the guy who picks you over my friends.
= I'm the guy who's not afraid to tell my friends that I love you.
= I'm the guy who isn't always trying to act like a hard ass around you.
= I'm the guy that will tell you how I feel.
= I'm the guy who doesn't care about your imperfections and loves you more for them.
= I'm the guy who will hold you while we watch the sunset.

I'M THE GUY WHO REALLY WANTS TO MAKE YOU THE HAPPIEST
GIRL IN THE WORLD...

How I wish...

How I wish I could scream and yell at a mountain top where no one is listening or looking...
only God... How I wish I could walk under the rain and get myself wet cos if I cry, no one knows...
only God... How I wish I could leave all things behind and go around the world without any worries or heartache...
How I wish I could just walk out of my own problems and all my burdens...

Only God knows my heartache, my pain, my feelings...
No one in this world understands me more than God Himself.
Even as I cried myself to sleep or couldn't sleep at all,
He's the one that comforts me and gives me the peace so that I could sleep well at night without swollen eyes or feeling miserable over stupid situation.
Only God cares for every little details that I'm going through...
But I'm being selfish, not sharing every detail of me to Him...
All I depend on was earthly things... which couldn't care much if I'm there or not.

I'm so sorry God, for depending so much on earthly rewards and not obeying what YOU have already in planned for me. Pray that YOU'll forgive me for what I've done in my past and present life. Forgive Lord for those I've hurt and have hurt me. You have truly given me much more than anyone could ever give, no one can compare. Thank YOU! Amen!

BLOG?!?What for leh?!?

Recently, I was checking out a blog. The things that she wrote quite interesting. As I was reading through the blog (all her previous post), I felt that there's a link to what I feel. As I was blogging on my own, I'm speechless - nothing to write. Felt that sometimes blogging does takes lots of my time and sort of wasting also. Thoughts began to pop out asking "What am I doing here? What am I blogging about? What will I get when strangers or someone close to you read your blog? Knowing every situation you face and end up don't even dare to share whats been bothering you about towards friends and close ones... and sometimes, I don't even know what to write..." As I read about that person's blog, lots of things run through my mind. I wrote down what I felt on a note book and wanted to blog it on last Friday but I forgot to bring it to work and I couldn't use my home internet cos I think they bar my internet (didn't pay). Last night, as I was reading back what I wrote and new thoughts came in and I jot it down on my notebook. I was reluctant to type it all in my blog today (I did bring that notebook of mine to work) cos I don't feel good about it and knowing that someone will think I'm being paranoid and probably say why do I feel that way. Don't want to have any misunderstanding la. That's all I have to say. Must always think twice before I blog cos you never know... the things I wrote might hurt someone's feeling.

What is LIFE???

There's been lots of things happening around me lately... Lots of changes which I can't seem to handle it myself. Being the youngest in the family is quite a burden and having a brother who doesn't seem to help out within the family.
Sometimes I tend to question God... "Why am I being born in such a distance gap with both my brother and sister? Why can't I have a brother or sister thats just a year older or a year younger than me?" So that this burden can be shared equally.
I don't earn as much as my brother or sister... My salary is just enough for myself.. for my expanses, my insurans, my internet bills and etc... Thank God I don't own a car neither I know how to drive. If not, it'll be another huge burden. My dad been pestering me to get a driving license. But I didn't want to. Well, you can call me a coward or scaredy cat (if you like)... driving is kind of freaky. I can fall asleep in a car and another thing is... I'm afraid I'll waste more money in paying for all the surgery that I have to bear for my car. hehe. That's me. I'm a timid person.
Anyway, its been good that I can release whats been bothering me for this few days. I'm not expecting anyone to pity me or anything... please don't get me wrong. Just writing what I feel.
All I have to say is... this world is not the same as before. Lots of things has change, people has change, well... I should say... everything in this world has change.

Just for fun....

Your Blog Should Be Purple

You're an expressive, offbeat blogger who tends to write about anything and everything.
You tend to set blogging trends, and you're the most likely to write your own meme or survey.
You are a bit distant though. Your blog is all about you - not what anyone else has to say.

Australia team

Pictures of the 2 great speakers from Australia...

Pr. Paul Geerling... awesome speaker.. Pr. Neil Smith... together with Zai Liang & myself.

and last but not least.... *drums rolling*

Mike Webber....

Didn't manage to take pictures with the rest of the band members. Always miss the opportunity. Last years Planet Shakers Conference also the same. Manage to take picture with Mike Webber only. *sigh* Hopefully next year la...

New Friends...

Here are some new friends that I met...

Standing (left - right): Pr. Margaret (DUMC), the guy in white tshirt is from Indonesia (didn't ask his name), Bro. Arm, Bro. Khit, Pr. Aik (thailand)

Sitting (left - right): Jing Ling, myself & Sawitree

Pictures below taken at KLIA on monday morning. Wanted to follow Pr Hock to sent them to KLIA and take pictures with them... but unfortunately Pr Hock said not enough place. So, I ask him to take the group picture for me... so I can put them in my blog.

Standing (left - right): Bro. Arm, Pr Hock, Pr. Aik, Bro. On, Bro. Tong, Bro. Khit

Sitting (left - right): Pr. Steve Whiddon (frm Australia but he's been ministering in Thailand. He's the one who brought the thailand team to join the Planet Shakers Conference), Pr. Song Witn & Bro. Ling

This is the same picture as the above. Just added Sing Kiat. He helped Pr. Hock to fetch some of the Thailand people to KLIA. aiyah.. should have followed them la since there's an extra car. hehe. If I'm there, I'll be in both of the photos. *shucks*

The names given above are their nick names. Pr Aik was sharing with me and Jing Ling cos he was asking us what is our nick names. For us, nick names are being called by family members or friends that gave us funny names but for them... its easier for us to call their nick names cos its short and sweet. hehe.

Makes me feel like going to Thailand for a holiday...

"Baby... when can we go Thailand for holiday ah???"

Special OPS team... *yay*

Here are some pictures taken at the Planet Shakers Conference...
First of all... here are the Planet Shakers Special Ops Crew...
The not so complete pic...

Someone from the PS team came and join us for the photo shoot. Cool! By the way, we're not suppose to take pictures in the hall cos the band are doing their practise. Anyway, its the last day of the conference and so happen everyone was sitting around. So might as well take a picture with the OPS. ^_^

and finally... *drums rolling...*

the complete picture... (the guy in green tshirt is Pr Mark, just knew it from Pr Hock)

Planet Shakers... *I'll proclaim... Evermore*

Friday Nov 11, 05

Woke up at 6:30am. Sleep in for another half an hour better than nothing but well, Pr Hock was late... very late. He overslept. hehe. Guess he's dead tired running around and busy with the Planet Shakers Conference... no time to rest. Well, no one says doing God's work is easy and all smooth way... There's still headache and tiredness to stressed out. God is good to us in certain ways, blessing us in different ways and etc...
We reach Sunway Pyramid bout 8:40am, get ourselves ready for another big day. Crowds are a little hyper during Praise & Worship time. They run to the front... jump & jump & jump. Oh! I forgot to tell you what the Special Ops did during those praise & worship time. We have to become the barricade right in front of the stage and the worst thing.. we face the congregation. hehe. hmm... I think I wrote about this on my previous blog isn't it... but well, no harm writing again. ^_^
That morning... Sam Evans took that session. She sort of lose her voice during the nite concert, she like couldn't deliver her message in full force. Was expecting alot from her message, waiting for what God has to say thru her. Guess God has already spoken to me earlier on thru the rest of the pastors but I don't seem to open up myself to it. Sad huh!
Anyway, here are the notes taken on Friday both conference & concert...

Session 1 by Sam Evans

Isaiah 61:1-7
the spirit of the sovereign Lord is upon us. we serve a God of double portion, not half-heartedness... captives will be set free and prisoners released in His name. not my strength but His spirit which allows me to do anything - I can do all things thru Christ who strengthens me

  • "Sovereign" - exercises supreme authority
  • people will try to rob that place, by speaking authority over us... but we decide who to submit to - to them or tothe Sovereign Lord

Session 2 by Paul Geerling

1 Corrinthians 2:1-5

1 Corrinthians 14:4

  • Gifts of tongues
  • Its the same Holy Spirit that dwells within those in the Old Testament and New Testament people.

I didn't really catch the whole message from him... All I remember was Pr. Paul was talking about the Holy Spirit. Wanting us to accept the gift of the Holy Spirit. Later after that, he called for those who have not accepted the gift of tongues and Holy Spirit. Well, I think half of the crowd went out to the front. *was just wondering whether those people understand what he speak about... cos I see most of them already knew how to speak in tongues... funny huh!*

Got the following notes from someone... didn't manage to write notes cos I didn't get to go backstage to get my stuff and didn't get to drink water too.. so sad.. was coughing badly that nite.

Nite Concert --> Mike Guglielmucci

Ecclesiastes 3:1

  • there is a time for everything
  • God is in search for a hungry generation which is willing to cry out for His intervention
  • illustration of the woman with issue of the blood.. she reached out to Him when the rest of the crowd awaitedHis touch.
  • Don't wait for Him to come to you - you reach out to Him. draw near to God and He'll draw near to you.
  • Hunger attracts Heaven

some Biblical examples of crying out

  • Joshua 6 - the wall of Jericho. they CRIED OUT and the walls came down
  • Jonah 2 - the belly of the fish. Jonah CRIED OUT and was forgiven
  • Matthew 27 - Jesus CRIED OUT on the cross

the hungrier you are the wider your territory is

Ezekiel 22:30 - God sought for someone but found no one

2 Chronicles 7:14 - if His people hear His call, He willhear and heal their land

That's all for Planet Shakers Conference. To everyone who are reading my blog now... hope that you'll be bless by it as much as I do. Do try to get the dvds', vcds' or cd's of the Planet Shakers Conference 05. Or... join the Planet Shakers Conference 06 in Australia (Brisbane, Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide)

Planet Shakers... *always.. always & forever*

Thursday 10 Nov, 05

Woke up super early today. 6:05am!!! Have to go early la... like I say on my earlier blog... majority of my friends are involve in the Crew, so tag along la. Pr. Hock pick me up at 7:20am... shouldn't have woke up that early... he go tell me to get ready by 7am.
I was hoping to get the Planet Shakers Crew tshirt... but Pr Hock said I have to be one of them only can get the tshirt. So happen he's the head of the Special Ops department and he have a spare name tag. He gave the tag to me and he go look for the tshirt. After a while, Angel came by (one of my church friend) and I ask her whether she wanna be part of the Crew or not if there's a place. She agreed and I sms Pr Hock that me and Angel wanna be part of it... so later he came with 2 Crew tshirt. I was so happy... at least there's someone to teman me.. although I have a few guy friend in the same department - Special Ops. You must be wondering what does Special Ops do!?! Its a department that help with whatever that needs help in... there's a few of them that take care of the speaker and the band, prepare them with towels, water and so on. And the rest of us will be stand around and guard the crowds - make sure they don't run up to the stage and so on. Quite a good department cos you get to see the band face to face and probably take picture with them and so on... I missed out lots of opportunity e.g get their signature, take pictures and see them practise. Really COOL!
Anyway, here are some notes taken on thursday's session...

Session 1 by Neil Smith.

Judges 15:1
  • It's harvest time!
  • Things which you do, sometimes, won't go your way.. but it's the matter of how you respond/react to them which decides where you go
  • Get in agression against the enemy.. when there's persecution, it means that the enemy hates you for what you're doing for God

Session 2 by Matt Fielder

The Hall of Faith (Hebrews 11:1-2)

a few Bible character that shows their FAITH in God.

Noah

  • does things he has yet to see - building the ark. was an ordinary guy from the desert who knows nuts about rain, water and boat, but when God told him to build a boat, he did not question. he did it anyways.
  • stepped out of comfort zone in order to carry out duties for His kingdom
  • God uses you not for your talents, but despite your talents

Abraham

  • left his country. God told him to "go", and didn't state where. Abraham didn't question where, he just obeyed and went as He told him to.
  • if you don't start now, you'll never start

Moses

burning bush...

there will always be someone better but God will always look for someone who's willing to believe in Him... He will equip you for your calling

Hebrews 11:39 --> commended by their faith yet none received what they have been promised... vs. 40 for He has planned something better for us

Workshop --> Worship by Henry Seeley

He shared bout his past. How he love music and he told his pre-school teacher that when he grow up.. he wanna become a musician. (^_^). How he accepted and how he forego his music when God ask him to surrender. He gone thru what Abraham gone thru when Abraham have to sacrifice Isaac. But then, God bless him many more folds.

Nite concert --> Russell Evans

Matthew 18:18 ; bind in Heaven bound in Heaven..

  • You either agree with what God says or what the devil says
  • The devil is a box maker - he wants to confine you, to put you in four walls and limit your potentials
  • God is a box breaker - He wants you to have freedom, live a life of liberty and abundance (John 10:10) and He will break limits for you

That's all for thursday... another long day on Friday

Planet Shakers... *hey! hey!.. jump around!*

Wednesday 9 Nov, 05 (10am)

Had a wonderful 2 days conference and 3 night concert. The concert started on Wednesday evening but I have to go in the morning to Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre cos some of my friends volunteer themselves as part of the crew except me. While they were having their briefing (which starts at 11am) and I was the only person walking around the shopping mall. Sigh! Which make me spend so much.. hehe.. The registration starts at 1pm and I was waiting for Pr. Hock to go KLIA to pick up some delegates from Thailand. The meeting got delayed, so he can't leave early... suppose to leave Sunway at 11:45am. So we leave Sunway at 12:40pm and guess what time the Thailand delegates arrival time... 12:35pm. We're LATE!!! Later after that... we manage to reach there bout 1:30pm. I had to go down first cos need to looked out for them (fyi, we suppose to pick up 2 different batch of Thailand delegates. The first is at 12:35pm {2 of them} and the second at 2:50pm {4 of them}) as I was in the airport... I was looking at the screen hoping to see the flight number and whether they have arrive or not but nope... no flight number on the screen. I was holding the print out paper with their name and walking around.. up and down the food place. No one approached me, so I just stand there at the entrance waiting for Pr Hock to come. He later took over the print out and started walking up and down again. (now I know how it feels to carry the paper and trying to look for someone that you never seen before... feel weird.. haha) Well, we manage to found them *thank God* they were sitting around at the entrance - waiting. It was around 2:10pm when we found them, so we when to have BK for lunch while we wait for the second batch of delegates. This round, we don't have to worry, don't have to hold up the print out cos the 2 delegates knew the rest. *thank God again* ^_^ The second group came out about 3:30pm, after that we rush back to Sunway Pyramid to get ourselves register and Pr. Hock later send the Thai delegates to check-in one of the hotel near by. I had to go back to church office to finish off a Bible reading plan for a pastor.. for the weekend. Took a cab which cost rm14.. CRAZY!!! Later, I followed another friend of mine to the concert at night, we were late. The concert starts at 7:30pm, we reach there bout 8pm - just in time for the worship time. Worship was AWESOME!
*another incident that I should praise God about* We went to the front cos some of our friends who is part of the Usher said that there's place in front but then... we didn't sit cos there's lots of youth that's standing right in front.. so we wait till everyone settles down. Well, like what we have thought... it was all seated by those people. We just sat where we are on the floor right in front. There's a row of empty seats which is for the leaders and VIP's... Pr Paul ask us (those on the floor) to fill those empty seats... *praise God huh!* last and yet... we got ourselves good seats.
That night, Pr Reggie Dabbs was the speaker. Awesome! Funny and yet every word hits thru your heart. There's such a conviction to every thing that he spoke... and you'll know that, its from God. He shared about how his life turn around and that we should come clean and face to face with God. Its really really good...
