Sushi.... yum yum!

This post will be a combined post for Monday and Wednesday cos it's related to my favourite food SUSHI! ^_^
Well, first I went for Sushi King on Monday with my sis and her kids to Ikano. Sushi King having their RM2 promo for 4 days (Monday - Thursday) only those on the belt will have the promotion (except some special plates which will be normal price). We ate bout 23-24 plates (can't remember the total of plates but it was roughly there la). I took a photo of it but I'm bit lazy to walk down to the living room to get my camera *haha* (cos I just came back from Sushi King). Monday's sushi is not as satisfy as todays...

Let me tell you what happen today.
I went down to KLCC to meet Cyn for dinner at Sushi King. So I left office at 5:10pm, wanna reach KLCC around 6pm. It was pouring so heavy during 3-4:30pm and got bit worry and prayed that the rain would stop before 5pm. True enough and really thank God that He stops the rain at 5pm and I manage to go to the LRT station without getting wet (my colleague drop me there). After that Cyn sms me saying KL started to pour while I was in the LRT heading to KLCC. Told her I'm on my way and so on. Was telling her that I'll be reaching KLCC ard 5:45pm and know what, I did reach KLCC's food court at that time. Not many people on queue but everyone has already seated and eating. They don't allow me to go in although there's seats available cos they want a full attendance before they allow you to go in. So I waited bout 20mins for Cyn to arrive. Thank God again that He stop the rain for Cyn to walk over to KLCC, it was a light drizzle. And she came just in time too cos there's a very nice seat just in front of the chef area. *hehe* We were so hungry cos both of us didn't eat lunch - drank milo and take biscuits only. We were seated ard 6:15pm and took what we want cos starving and at the same time waiting for the unagi. Waited and waited and waited... no sign of unagi but all salmon and etc. Then I told Cyn, we shall wait till 7:30pm for the unagi, if it doesn't come out at that time, we'll pay the bill and leave. When I said that it was 7:15pm. Guess what, the unagi were out at 7:25pm. Wow! Amazing or not! God answers prayers huh! (erm... clarify abit, didn't really pray la... just ask only). Both of us ate 20 plates which cost us RM47. Imagine, if its normal price... it'll probably cost RM80-90 cos we took the red, purple and pink plates (RM4-6 per plate). Today's Sushi King seems satisfying cos I had 2 plates of unagi. yummy!

Breakfast meeting @ Ikea

Had breakfast meeting at Ikea this morning. Left home bout 9am and reach Ikea ard 9.15am. My colleagues ordered food for everyone, today they served fried rice which is tasty @ only 99cents! Lots of people... heard from my colleague that people already started to queue ard 8.45am.
Never in my life I drank 2 cups of Cappucino in the morning *giggles* Had a hearty meal man! Colleague ordered chicken wings (yummy), fried rice for everyone (99cents), fried popiah, and sandwiches. This breakfast last till now (5.30pm) *haha* never take lunch or even drinks. Didn't take photos of the food la... hmm.. maybe can go again next time for breakfast (photos got from other website).
Anyway, I just read a news regarding a pastor from NZ that he's diagnosed with cancer. Was a sad case but still carrying the hope that he'll recover from it cos God is on our side. Lots of things are happening now in this world. Financial crisis will hit the world and natural disaster which is happening at some places. Just yesterday, I was browsing through a friends FB, her house was badly flooded on last week Saturday (Oct 11, 08), never in her 30yrs of staying there ever flooded.
Some of the prophets did prophesy over certain stuff that's gonna happen in this world and half of his prophecies had already happen. This is a warning from God. Turn to God before its too late, do what we can to reach out to none believers. All God matters is seeing His children coming to His Kingdom and those who have fallen to return to Him.
Whenever I heard of these things, it shakes me at times and I asked myself "What will happen when these things hit Malaysia?". Can't just swept these news aside and live as a happy-go-lucky person. Well, I'm like that lor... not knowing whats happening in this world and not worrying cos I hardly read newspaper. *oops*
*sigh* All I can say is to pray and carrying the hope and trust in God. I don't know what will happen when end time comes, you just need to be prepare, like the 5 wise virgins.

I love this song

Randomly found this lovely song from a Pro-Photographer website. He did it for his clients wedding montage.
Can't find this song over the internet. Hopefully I can buy the CD at Tower Records or any shop.

Manage to download it in one of the websites. *haha* Naughty me. Well, I did went to look for it at Speedy cos was at Ikano having dinner lastnite but couldn't find. Took me some time to find this song (after my dinner) and also took me awhile to download it - darn slow (downloading it while I took a short nap). Lyrics is really good.

Lovely lyrics...
Artist/songwriter : David Pomeranz
Song title: On This Day

(Verse)

Here we stand today
Like we always dreamed
Starting out our lives together
Light is in your eyes
Love is in our hearts
I can't believe you're really mine forever

(Bridge)
Been rehearsing for this moment all my life
So don't act surprised
If the feelings starts to carry me away

(Chorus)
On this day
I promise forever
On this day
I surrendered my heart
Here I stand, take my hand
And I will honor every word that I say
On this day

(2nd Verse)
Not so long ago
This earth was just a field,

Of cold and lonely space Without you
Now everything's all right
Now everything's refill
And the story of my life
Is all about YOU

For if you feel the cold winds
Blowing through your nights
I will shelter you and forever
Here to chase your fears away

(Chorus)
On this day
I promise forever
On this day
I surrendered my heart
Here I stand, take my hand
And I will honor every word I say
On this day

(2nd Bridge)
ooh I've been rehearsing for this moment all my life
So don't act surprised
If the feelings starts to carry me away

(2nd Chorus)
On this day
I promise forever
On this day
I surrendered my heart
Here we stand like I God planned
Please say you'll always look at me this way
Like on this day..

** Made a little change on the 2nd Chorus, decided to change "I" to "God". It sounded nicer when you sing. Ahh.. this song is so nice and meaningful... never bored listening to it. Wanna get HF to sing this song on a special day... lovely.. really lovely..

Super Drama!

Had lunch with a guy friend yesterday. He came by like 2:30pm, which is more like tea than lunch. *giggles*
Mainly catching up with him and we were chatting bout work, relationships and etc.
So as I was asking him about his relationship with his gf, he said broke up liau. So was showing my concern and asked him what happen. His relationship is darn drama lor. So many things happen in his gf - now ex-gf la. Not so much of their relationship problems (how much problem can you get when you're dated for only 2 months *hehe*).
More of the girl's side.
Well, lots of drama happen in her passed relationship with her ex-bf. Heard that her ex-bf loves to abused and punished her and sometimes lock her up in her own house without keys (i.e took her house keys & car keys). This ex-bf stays at her place, used her money and also jobless and they were together for 3years. As my friend was telling me, I wondered why such a nice and pretty girl would stand such an idiotic guy for so long. Its insane!
Lots of incident happen to her actually - countless incident. There's one incident before my friend dated her, her ex-bf asked to meet up together with my friend but she doesn't want, afraid that the guys would fight. And you know what happen to her, she was drove out of State (sort of like kidnap her away) and my friend was panic cos that crazy fella kept her mobile and there's no way she can call out. My friend actually made police report and finally that crazy guy let her come back to PJ. Not only that, that guy threatened her to have sex with him if not he'll rape her. And there's also another incident where the girl went for abortion too (twice!). The second round of abortion wasn't done in the clinic, the baby somehow came out while she went to pee the next morning. The most classic one was the crazy guy was at the cyber cafe and didn't care bout the gf. Wow! I was really shocked.. I thought this could only happen in movies, never thought it could happen in real life.
*sigh* No idea why this girl want a boyfriend that treated her so badly and now they're back together again cos the idiotic guy sweet talk to her and telling her that he's change because of her. Do you trust him? For me, I don't thnk so.

Work on a holiday!

Came back from my PG trip on thursday (Oct 2, 08). BB fetch me back. Hmm.. come to think of it, I should have just come back to PJ on the Tuesday, well, not to say I'm regretting of my decision but I missed spending time with him lor. He chose to work on the Raya holiday (2 days ah), and on top of that, he too working on Mon-Tue (half day). At least not a full day which I think I rather not go PG if he plans to work the whole week.
How did my holiday turn out? Well, I was surprised that on the Saturday when I depart from PJ wasn't that jam at all, I thought most of the people would be on the road either on Friday night or Saturday but nope. Thank God for a clear road. At first I was telling BB that I might be late on the Saturday and he could take his time to finish off his work.. YES! Work again on the Saturday! I was expecting to reach PG like 3.30 - 4pm but nope.. I reach PG at 3pm - 4 1/2 hours. I was bit shock when I see Juru toll and that time was like 2.30pm, I quickly sms BB that I'll be reaching early instead. So he made arrangements to ask his mom to pick me up at the bus station. Bit 'phai seh' that his parents came to pick me up. So I waited for him at home which is like 15mins later. Weekend was ok, didn't do much stuff, just go walk around the malls and etc. Bought a nice dress (thank you BB) for friends wedding dinner for the next 2 mths (2 bombs-one after another).
I made some plans earlier for the 2 days of Raya where BB have to work. Took some work to PG and spend some time doing some HR stuff. And am happy that BB finally get a router at home so that I could go online as well with my notebook and some other movies were on tv to entertained me while I'm home with his family. ^_^ Time passed quite fast when these things keep me occupied, well, I have to drag myself up at 10am for the passed 4 days, wanting to sleep more cos of the rain. BB's room is so cooling cos of the trees behind his house... we didn't switch on the aircond for 4 days and I have to used additional blanket to cover myself (which is after BB gone to work in the morning).
That's how I spent my holidays during this long long holiday... longing to spend more time with BB but ended up alone but he's been good, after working for a long day he still drive me all the way to Batu Ferringhi to get some dvds. *muaks*
Came back on Thursday, cos I have to work on Friday so I have 2 free labours to help with work (my niece and BB lor). Thought I could finish off my work by 5pm and bring my niece to the park but too bad it started to rain like 4pm and we left office like bout 6pm. ^_^
Friday night, went for Seoul Gardens at One Utama, had a hearty korean buffet, and then went back home for movies. As for Saturday, nothing much, after lunch, went to source for a new speaker at IT Mall and then stayed home to catch up with our dvd again and later go dinner and we went for movie at GSC. We watched Flight of the Living Dead. It was an OK movie... quite scary at some scene but bit stupid also la the characters. Silly!
There... that's how I spend my holiday with the one that I love. *sigh* Longing for another holiday again... which I really don't know when... want to enjoy the beach, the sun and the pool!!!

Another Bday Celebration

Celebrated both Pastor's birthday on Sept 23, 08. Double cake with double blessings... Actually, both pastor have their own preference... the picture below... on the left is Chunky Cheese Chocolate and on the right is Marble Cake, both from Bon Bon's cakehouse @ Atria Damansara Jaya. Been buying alot of cheese cake from the owner and every time she asked the same question again and again... "Do you know how to cut my cheesecake?" Even as my colleague went to collect it, she too asked the same question. *haha* Then my colleague answered her "Angie has been buying most of the cheesecake from you, I'm sure she knows very well.."
Everytime without failed, either the owner or her staff will ask me the question. Funny! And oh! The cake is marvelous la... though I prefer J.L's cheesecake more... lovely!
