Gu Mou Fei Yeung Concert!!!

WOW!!! Its an awesome concert... and the most worth watching one. Me and my frens (Mark & Grace) went there quite early. Well, just wanna say thank you to Alex (Grace's bf) thats so kind to fetch us there and not only that.. he fetch us back as well. Nice guy. hehe.
We reach there early.. bout 6:30pm. Lots of people already crowd at the entrance.. there's hotlink booth at one stretch and also Marigold booth selling their packet drinks at rm1. And at another corner, there's the 988 radio crew. They gonna play some answering game there.. both my frens standing right in front... but unfortunately, non of them get any prize. Not bcos they dunno the answers.. they know.. just that the DJ quite bias and gave the opportunity to those behind. Boo to 988 DJ (whoever it is) dunno their names cos I'm not the fan of the radio station.

I bought the rm290 tix with a 20% discount (only when U buy the rm60 or rm100 topup card at Sg. Wang) So, my ticket is rm232.40. Worth it ma... pay rm232 for 3 Hong Kong artistes and 3 hours of entertainment. There's a guest artistes called Justin Lo. Where everyone goes googoogaga over him. Well, no doubt he's talented. hehe. Know what, he's slightly shorter as Miriam Yeung.
The concert started late.. bout 9pm. Their costumes is really good.

The picture on the right is their first costume doing the opening song. Later in the middle of the concert Miriam wore this coat cover with blinking star (runs on batt) for one of her songs (can't remember the song title but I remember the lyrics got twinkle, twinkle little star) really pretty. Must go find the picture and post it up. *anybody can help me find the link so I can post it up*

Leo's costume were amazing too... stylish, handsome... hehe.. or should say... everyone screaming his name when he comes out from the bottom of the stage calling him "Kei Chai!!! Ngo Oi Lei!! Lei Hou Yau Yeng ah!!!" Amazing crowd... it boost the atmosphere of the concert. Lights were full-on on the stage... and so as the blinking lights from the crazy audience (haha.. I'm one of them)

There's this part where I like it the most when Justin Lo came out and sang 2 of his songs. When comes to the 2nd song, he required the audience to turn on their mobiles and wave... so it'll brings out the effect. Its so nice when you looked around, it's like stars in the sky and some using their glow sticks and some were using the battery operated lights.. and some uses mini torch-light (how creative). That's the moment where you don't see it in other concerts. *sigh* quite wasted that we can't take pictures. Not that we're selling the photos but to keep them as remembrance, to show that we went for the concert.

Almost to the end of the concert, both Leo & Miriam went down stage to shake hands with the audience... gosh! the crowd was darn crazy. All rush to both of the artistes cos 2 of them take different sides. Leo couldn't take the crowd, so he went up to the stage to shake hands and even up stage, you can see that some people pull him. So goes to Miriam, people just drag her hands and she later went up to the stage and also get pulled by people. Both of them say that Msian people are very "yit cheng" compare to people back in Hong Kong. Well, what to do... we don't have artistes to see on the streets unlike Hong Kong which they get to see them on every concert they held. Here's a picture of them after all the hand shakes.. they were comparing their hands and saying that Leo's ring nearly pulled out by the crowd.

After the concert, one of my fren wanted the Gu Mou Fei Yeung's poster so much, he thought of taking it down from the lamp post. But when we were outside the stadium, saw a booth selling Justin's CD and so as Gu Mou Fei Yeung's CD. Buy one CD free a poster. Each of us bought one and Mark asked the guy see whether he can give the huge poster. Know what, he gave him.. so both me and Grace also asked and he gave us too. We were so happy. haha.

On our way out, we saw so many people queueing at the gate. I thought there's something selling at the gate but when I take a closer look... guess what.. its digital camera. Confisticated by the guard before they went into the stadium. Well, its written so clearly that no camera is allowed in the concert. But people still bring in. So, they were waiting to claim back their digital cam.

Overall, great concert... can't wait for Eason's concert in August. All 3 of us made a pack that we gonna save money to buy the best seats for Eason's concert. haha. See.. how crazy we are.. but its fun to go with someone who enjoys it as much as you do.

The Husband Store

A friend of mine send this to me.. I find it funny and its quite true also.. that some women are hard to please... ^_^
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Husband Store

A store that sells husbands has just opened in New York City, where a woman may get to choose a husband. Among the instructions at the entrance is a description of how the store operates. You may visit the store ONLY ONCE! There are six floors and the attributes of the men increase as the shopper ascends the flights. There is, however, a catch... you may choose any man from a particular floor, or you may choose to go up a floor, but you cannot go back down except to exit the building!

So, a woman goes to the Husband Store to find a husband.
On the first floor the sign on the door reads:
>> Floor 1 - These men have jobs and love the Lord.
The second floor sign reads:
>> Floor 2 - These men have jobs, love the Lord, and love kids.
The third floor sign reads:
>> Floor 3 - These men have jobs, love the Lord, love kids, and are extremely good looking.

"Wow," she thinks, but feels compelled to keep going.

She goes to the fourth floor and sign reads:
>> Floor 4 - These men have jobs, love the Lord, love kids, are drop-dead good looking and help with the housework.

"Oh, mercy me!" she exclaims, "I can hardly stand it!"

Still, she goes to the fifth floor and sign reads:
>> Floor 5 - These men have jobs, love the Lord, love kids, are drop-dead gorgeous, help with the housework, and have a strong romantic streak.

She is so tempted to stay, but she goes to the sixth floor and the sign reads:
>> Floor 6 - You are visitor 4,363,012 to this floor. There are no men on this floor. This floor exists solely as proof that women are impossible to please.
Thank you for shopping at the Husband Store. Watch your step as you exit the building, and have a nice day!

Moments of...

It's amazing how people can write blog like they are writing a poem or a novel... but well, will try my best to write a proper blog. hehe. Here's something for a start...
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Time, days, and years passes extremely fast. Day after day... week after week just gone by. Soon it'll be another year to celebrate.
Would hearts change, would feelings change, or would our character change and etc...???
Everything will change when we step in a new year, hoping for a new life, a new beginning to start with, changing from a not so good person to a better one or try to be a little kind to everyone you see on the road.
But one thing will never ever change is our memories, our past, our hopes, our dreams and vision.
Some people would hope to meet their soul mates or someone who would know how to treasure relationships. Care for one another.
Some, you will be hearing wedding bells ringing everywhere you go and it makes you envy and wondering "When will it be my turn?". haha. You can just see it written all over your forehead or in your eyes... the blinking and sparkling of a diamond that you wish to have.
That's every girls dream to marry someone that would give them the sense of security, love, joy, and the feeling of knowing that she don't have to worry a thing.
Same goes for the guys, hoping to marry someone that will live happily ever after, to have a beautiful wife and beautiful kids.
Good memories, bad memories... both comes and go. You can't dwell in them or live as in you're in a fairyland or fantasy world.
This is the fact... world is changing... so as we humans.

the story of ROSE

This is a great story... got it from a my sister thru email... hope that we'll be inspire by her story... Njoy!

Rose......

The first day of school our professor introduced himself and challenged us to get to know someone we didn't already know. I stood up to look around when a gentle hand touched my shoulder.
I turned around to find a wrinkled, little old lady beaming up at me with a smile that lit up her entire being.

She said, "Hi handsome. My name is Rose. I'm eighty-seven years old. Can I give you a hug?"
I laughed and enthusiastically responded, "Of course you may!" and she gave me a giant squeeze. "Why are you in college at such a young, innocent age?" I asked.
She jokingly replied, "I'm here to meet a rich husband, get married, and have a couple of kids..."
"No seriously," I asked. I was curious what may have motivated her to be taking on this challenge at her age.
"I always dreamed of having a college education and now I'm getting one!" she told me.

After class we walked to the student union building and shared a chocolate milkshake. We became instant friends. Every day for the next three months we would leave class together and talk nonstop. I was always mesmerized listening to this "time machine" as she shared her wisdom and experience with me.
Over the course of the year, Rose became a campus icon and she easily made friends wherever she went. She loved to dress up and she reveled in the attention bestowed upon her from the other students. She was living it up.
At the end of the semester we invited Rose to speak at our football banquet. I'll never forget what she taught us. She was introduced and stepped up to the podium. As she began to deliver her prepared speech, she dropped her three by five cards on the floor.
Frustrated and a little embarrassed she leaned into the microphone and simply said,

"I'm sorry I'm so jittery. I gave up beer for Lent and this whiskey is killing me! I'll never get my speech back in order so let me just tell you what I know."

(this cracked me up!)

As we laughed she cleared her throat and began, "We do not stop playing because we are old; we grow old because we stop playing. There are only four secrets to staying young, being happy, and achieving success. You have to laugh and find humor every day. You've got to have a dream. When you lose your dreams, you die. We have so many people walking around who are dead and don't even know it! There is a huge difference between growing older and growing up.
If you are nineteen years old and lie in bed for one full year and don't do one productive thing, you will turn twenty years old. If I am eighty-seven years old and stay in bed for a year and never do anything I will turn eighty-eight.
Anybody can grow older. That doesn't take any talent or ability. The idea is to grow up by always finding opportunity in change. Have no regrets. The elderly usually don't have regrets for what we did, but rather for things we did not do. The only people who fear death are those with regrets."

She concluded her speech by courageously singing "The Rose."
She challenged each of us to study the lyrics and live them out in our daily lives.
At the year's end Rose finished the college degree she had begun all those years ago.
One week after graduation Rose died peacefully in her sleep. Over two thousand college students attended her funeral in tribute to the wonderful woman who taught by example that it's never too late to be all you can possibly be.

These words have been passed along in loving memory of ROSE

REMEMBER, GROWING OLDER IS MANDATORY. GROWING UP IS OPTION

Make a Living by what we get; We make a Life by what we give.

God promises a safe landing, not a calm passage. If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it.

day out with Grace...

I went out with Grace yesterday to KL cos its a public holiday. She teman me to go Pudu and buy bus ticket for my Penang trip. After getting the ticket, we went for early lunch bout 11:30am @ Lai Fong restaurant... Grace ate beef noodle and I had chicken rice. *yum yum*
After our yummy lunch, we took a bus (yea.. bus! its been 4 years I've never sit a public bus) to Sg. Wang. Actually our next destination is to go Low Yat Plaza to search for mp3 player. Saw a mp4 player on the net which is quite good, so my purpose is to check out the features and see how big is the player but unfortunately, couldn't find it.
So we went walking around the level, continue to search and scouting around and comparing the prices. Saw a guy playing with a mp4, looks nice cos big screen (2.5inch), so I ask him how much is it cost.. he told me 256mb = rm429 and 512mb = rm499 or something like that. I got a shock and I straightaway brush off that model on my mind and continue scouting. Went to a shop that sells only mp3/mp4 player.. lots of choices and cool design. Saw the same model that the guy uses on the display, so I went and ask the lady. The model that she's selling is different price compare to the earlier one that I saw... well, its infact cheaper. 256mb = rm399 and 512mb = rm499. I didn't buy it immediately of course.. went scouting and comparing price again. Still couldn't find the mp3/mp4 that I want.. so I ask Grace's opinion. She said the mp4 player not bad. So we went back to the same shop and ask for the model but when we were there... lots of people crowding the shop. Something funny happen at that time.
There's a girl and a guy standing in front of me and she's holding a mp3.. like she's there for enquiry or needed services. So both Grace and I were just standing there waiting for them to finish with their matter.

The conversation goes like this... (both parties speaks mandarin)
Shop Owner: Can I help you?
Lady: There's something wrong with my mp3. Couldn't start and couldn't charge as well..
SO: (opens the battery compartment and got a shock)
L: (looking at him innocently)
SO: Miss ah... I don't think there's anything wrong with your mp3 player. The battery you use probably runs out.
L: Oh! Then how do I go about it? How can I charge?
SO: You can't charge this battery cos its not rechargeable. You're suppose to throw the battery away once its finish.
(people around witnessing the conversation trying to hold their laughter.. just smile away. even the retail sales girl was holding in)
L: Erm... then what should I do?
SO: Its either you buy a normal battery or (he went to get a rechargeable battery set) you can get a rechargeable battery like this one.
L: Oh! Then how much is the rechargeable battery cost?
SO: rm35.
L: How long am I suppose to charge it and how long can it last?
SO: Aiyo... it depends how much you use it lor... (showing abit of frustration) and for first time user... charge it for 15hrs.
L: (took the rechargeable battery and show to the guy thats next to her... discussing bout it..) Ok la... I'll get one. Thanks.

So, what did u think about this conversation.. I didn't make it up ya.. its real conversation between shop owner and the lady. hehe. Well, I think the girl come from those kampung kampung place or from China. haha. No offence for those people from China la.. sorry ya!
Oh.. btw, I bought the mp4 player from them. Pretty good. I like it alot.. haha.. converted a movie file to ASF. file and its in my mp4. haha. yay! happy happy!

MANUFACTURER'S RECALL NOTICE

Have an interesting article to share. Got it from a friend.

MANUFACTURER'S RECALL NOTICE

The Maker of all human beings is recalling all units manufactured, regardless of Make or year, due to a serious defect in the primary and central component of the heart.
This is due to a malfunction in the original prototype units code named Adam and Eve, resulting in the reproduction of the same defect in all subsequent units.
This defect has been technically termed, "Subsequential Internal Non-morality," or more commonly known as S. I. N., as it is primarily expressed.

Some other symptoms:
1. Loss of direction
2. Foul vocal emissions
3. Amnesia of origin
4. Lack of peace and joy
5. Selfish, or violent behavior
6. Depression or confusion in the mental component
7. Fearfulness
8. Idolatry
9. Rebellion

The Manufacturer, who is neither liable nor at fault for this defect, is providing factory authorized repair and service free of charge to correct this SIN defect.
The Repair Technician, Jesus, has most generously offered to bear the entire burden of the staggering cost of these repairs. There is no additional fee required.
The number to call for repair in all areas is: P-R-A-Y-E-R.
Once connected, please upload your burden of SIN through the REPENTANCE procedure.
Next, download ATONEMENT from the Repair Technician, Jesus, into the heart component.

No matter how big or small the SIN defect is, Jesus will replace it with:
1. Love
2. Joy
3. Peace
4. Patience
5. Kindness
6. Goodness
7. Faithfulness
8. Gentleness
9. Self control

Please see the operating manual: The B.I.B.L.E. (Believers Instructions Before Leaving Earth), for further details on the use of these fixes.

WARNING: Continuing to operate the human being unit without correction voids any manufacturer warranties, exposing the unit to dangers and problems too numerous to list and will result in the human unit being permanently impounded. For free emergency service, call on JESUS.

DANGER: The human being units not responding to this recall action will haveto be scrapped in the furnace. The SIN defect will not be permitted to enter Heaven so as to prevent contamination of that facility.

Thank you for your attention! Please assist where possible by notifying others of this important recall notice!!!

WELCOME year 2006

WOW!!! Time flies and its year 2006. Been away from blogging for awhile.. not that I'm busy with Christmas and New Year stuff.. ^_^ Just wanna blog what I did during the whole week.
Went to Penang to celebrate Christmas with my BB. Went there on Friday 23rd Dec, 05. Didn't do much there but to swim, swim and swim. Went to visit my BB's grandparents who's staying in Butterworth (his uncle bought 2 condo there, so went there to swim) Been swimming for 3 days straight, even rain couldn't stop us... haha.. except for lightning la... Whenever we were in the pool, we swim for hours.. 2-3hours. geng leh..! I guess u'll say siau la. haha. but no kidding.. we did swim for 2-3 hrs. Haven't been swimming for a long time.. but I still know how to swim and it feels good. I stayed in Penang till thursday cos my BB have to work on Wednesday (3pm - 11pm), so my BB fetch me over to his grandparents place after lunch. Quite bored there cos nothing much to do and I forgot to bring my thumbdrive over if not I can still do some work using Filion's dad notebook. Thank God there's tv, at least I can watch the tv till 5pm. After that I went for a swim, from 5pm till 7pm... 2 hrs.. I swim the most on that day. Tiring. Then had dinner, ate some rice first cos hungry then they made steamboat. Was yummy. Ate alot. haha.
Hmm... what else... oh ya.. went for movie on tuesday, we watch Chronicles of Narnia. It was indeed a good movie. I think they should screen more, make it a 3hrs movie. Unlike King Kong, darn boring. That movie should have cut to 2 1/2 hrs or lesser than that.
What I did on Christmas Eve...? We went to Catholic Church for a midnight mass, which we have to stand for 2hrs cos too crowded, no place to sit. Was expecting a more lively carol but then it was ok. hehe. That's all I did at Penang la.. the rest of it.. normal la.. go hang kai, eat and swim. hehe.
As of thursday, we came back almost evening. Went dinner with my parents to Sam You. Then friday, I went back to work. To finish off some stuff for the weekend. Later in the evening, went out dinner with Filion's uncle for seafood. The food was nice. On New Year's eve, we went to Curve, left house bout 10:30pm. Jam all the way there. Saw the fireworks, was cool but then the place that we stop our cars... can't really see the whole fireworks la.. so sad. Well, wouldn't want to risk and drive all the way down to KL... it'll be freaking jam and crowded.
And as for Sunday, we went to 1 Utama. Go walk around and had our dinner there. They have this huge monopoly board at the new wing centrecourt (human monopoly).
After dinner, we go to church. My church have some event on for the New Year. Suppose to be on New Year Eve but it clashes with our Chinese Church, so we change it to Jan 1, 06 evening "New Dawn 2006". Saw different cell groups present their items and presentations.. it was indeed fun.. especially the youths. U guys are great! haha.
Thats all for now... here are 2 pictures taken during that night.

A great camp indeed!!!

Been away for 4 days. Ermm.. I should say haven't been blogging for a week or so since my last post about Fondue Cheese.. *yumyum* might be going there again with Jing, Chia Wei, and Wei Ching. Suppose to be a CG Christmas dinner but some of my CG member not free and some will be away for holiday. Well, I'll be away too. Going Penang for Christmas. Thats why we need to have the Christmas dinner before I leave.
Anyway, came back from Youth Camp on Sunday (Dec 18, 05). It was indeed a great camp. Our theme is Going BEYOND (pushing FORWARD, reaching HIGHER, being TRANSFORMED). Our camp speaker, Pr. Paul & Karen Hughes are from Australia but settle down in Penang. His church is called theRealm @ Chulia Street. Maybe can go visit them whenever I'm there for the weekend. ^_^
What I've learn through this camp was to move in the Holy Spirit. We must first be 'Loyal' to God and 'Seperate' ourselves with the worldly desire. Most of the sessions are basically ministry time. Teaches us how to prophesy and pray for one another. How to build up our faith and trust level. Being able to GO BEYOND our own limit. Whats the one thing that you desire to GO BEYOND?
I receive 2 prophecy, both are from Karen Hughes. And Pr. Hock (NewLife Youth pastor) prayed for me too.. thats during the concert that we had on Sat evening. All of the prayer and prophecies are mostly true. Been having difficulty in finance (both myself and family), and been wanting to walk out of my past... and know what... Pr Karen said that I'm now walking in the desert and trying to walk away from past. And she mention that I'm like the women with the issue of blood, been wanting to touch Jesus cloak, it'll be enough for me by just touching His cloak. As for Pr Hock, he prayed for a clearer vision in my life, seeking guidance or something like that.. hehe..
Oh ya.. I forgot one thing.. we have over 150 people register for this camp, some comes from our own daughter church like Shah Alam and Cheras, Zoe Christian Fellowship, Salvation Army, theRealm (Pr Paul's members), 2 Cambodians, 1 Thailand and 1 guy from Terengganu that found out about this Camp on the website. Guess its not by accident that all this people came for the camp... I'm sure God shows up in one way or another. Right!
Overall, the camp was just AWESOME. Special thanks to the Committee members that organise it. Getting to know more friends from different places and getting soaked up in God presence. God anointing was tremendously great. Pr Paul & Karen also teach us how to release God's anointing and power upon those who we pray for and get them slain in God's presence. Like the more you give, the more you'll receive.
Ok, less words here... will show you some photos of the camp on my next blog cos there's something wrong with the connection. Abit cacat. ^_^

Jesus is better than santa...

This post taken from Pr Paul & Karen's blog
Santa lives at the North Pole. JESUS is everywhere.
Santa rides in a sleigh. JESUS rides on the wind and walks on the water.
Santa comes but once a year. JESUS is an ever present help.
Santa fills your stockings with goodies. JESUS supplies all your needs.
Santa comes down your chimney uninvited. JESUS stands at your door and knock.. and then enters your heart.
You have to stand in line to see Santa. JESUS is as close as the mention of His name.
Santa lets you sit on his lap. JESUS lets you rest in His arms.
Santa doesn't know your name, all he can say is "Hi little boy or girl, What's your name?"
JESUS knew our name before we did.Not only does He know our name, He knows our address too. He knows our history and future and He even knows how many hairs are on our heads.
Santa has a belly like a bowl full of jelly. JESUS has a heart full of love.
All Santa can offer is HO HO HO. JESUS offers health, help and hope.
Santa says "You better not cry". JESUS says "Cast all your cares on me for I care for you. Santa's little helpers make toys. JESUS makes new life, mends wounded hearts, repairs broken homes and builds mansions.
Santa may make you chuckle. JESUS gives you joy that is your strength.
While Santa puts gifts under your tree, JESUS became our gift and died on the tree.

It's obvious there is really no comparison. We need to remember WHO Christmas is all about. We need to put Christ back in Christmas. Jesus is still the reason for the season.Yes, Jesus is better, He is even better than Santa Claus!

Fondue House *yum**yum*

Last Monday (Nov 28, 05)... I went for a seafood dinner with some of my CG member, suppose there's 7 of us but then 1 of our member last minute couldn't make it and the other fren.. she came but she didn't eat. So... 5 gals ordered... *drums rolling* 3 different type of crabs (1kg each, marmite crab, cheese crab n salty egg crab), 1 vege, 1 prawn, 1 plate of mantau (12pcs), and a plate of hokkien noodle (4person). All the food is just nice for 7 ppl but then... 5 of us have to finish all 7 ppl's food. Glutony man. haha.
Oh ya.. me and Jing Jing was talking about the Cheese steamboat that we both saw on astro tv. Which is in Hong Kong la. And we were like wondering whether Msia have this kind of food around or not.. and wanting to try it. And guess what, on the next day... (tue), was chatting with a fren on MSN and she just pop me with a msg saying about Fondue House. Amazing how God arranged such plan huh!
