Blue sandy beach...

I had a dreamed this morning. Don’t have time to pen them down cos’ nearly overslept cause by a mild headache in between my sleep. Just remembered it when Pr L mention bout old man dream dreams and young man see visions “televisions” *haha* Anyway, I hope I can still remember all of it.

It happened when my alarm rang the first time which is about 7:05am and I snoozed it to continue my sleep for 9mins. When my second alarm rang, I think I turn it off cos’ thinking I’ll be waking up in few minutes time but nope *giggles* All because of my slight headache la… blame it all to the headache.

Here’s how my dream starts.

I was in a classroom (looks like during my high school days with the wooden tables and students in class). Can’t really remember who are those involved in my dream… especially those in the classroom. I was sitting alone and all of a sudden a guy came and started teaching me how to use a machine that works like a duplicator and its bit complicated. Couldn’t seem to understand how it works and I find it complicated, not willing to do the job (this reminds me of sometimes we the Christians don’t accept or don’t like changes at all cos’ we’re too comfy with what we have or where we are now). Later, my mind started to wander around.

Just few minutes later, a friend asked to go out for a break and to catch some fresh air, so I followed. Ideas started to poured out by some of my friends, wanting to skip school and go do something fun or travel to somewhere near. I was pretty excited to hear that and longing for it and I asked, “When?” “Now!” they replied. Without any hesitation I said, “OK! Let’s go.”

There were only a handful of us, including myself and we were in a car driving along the road… don’t know where to head to. Some said go Port Dickson and some said go to some other beaches. Someone mention that there’s a nice resort (can’t remember the name… shucks!), so we drive to that resort to have a lookout.

We reached that place but we couldn’t drive in, so we need to walk to reach the resort, passing by sandy beach. We haven’t really reached the foyer of the resort; we were already amazed by the sands and the sea. Someone called me, “Gie! Come quickly… there’s lots of fishes here.” I was rushing there not wanting to miss it and I nearly fell into the sea. The water was actually very shallow (knee deep only). I remembered asking my friend, “How deep is the water?” “Nah! Not really deep, just the knee”, he replied. I walked towards him and he showing me the fish that he caught on his hand… it was a sea fish, it has blue strips. “Can I try? Does it bite? I asked. “Nope.” He replied. It was such a delight that I’m holding a fish. I looked around as I let the fish go, the pool is like you’re inside the sea… you can see the different corals and different fishes.

As I was walking back heading towards the resort foyer, I saw a palm size fish flapping its body cos’ it was on dry land. I wanted to take it with my palm but afraid that the fish might stink me so I walked around searching for something to help transfer that poor fish to the sea. I found a thick book and I scooped that fish up, I walk so fast and on the other hand being careful cos’ afraid the fish might drop on the ground. I couldn’t reach the place where I first saw the fishes cos’ the fish was flapping itself towards the edge, I saw there’s a drain look-a-like by the side and I quickly drop it. I was a little worried of that fish that I left in the drain and afraid that it may not survive without food but when I looked down, the drain was filled with other fishes too. I was happy to see the fish swimming again.

After that, me and my other friends started walking towards the resort (we have to walk in a line cos’ the trail is very narrow), I looked in front; I saw the sand was blue in color. I was shocked (partially excited), so I looked back, the rest of the sands were all in blue. Pastel blue to sky blue – like different tone. All of us walked faster towards the resort, and started touching the sand. I was playing with the sand and couldn’t believe what I saw. I was telling myself, “How I wish I have a bottle to keep the sand…” And there, I woke up. When I woke up, I suddenly thought “Aiya… I should have taken picture of the fishes, the blue sand and the sea! What a waste!” Know why I say that… because my mobile is with me all the time in my pocket. *haha*

When I think back of my dream, I still feel amazed by God’s creation. Heart sank by God’s work, making this earth that we’re staying so beautiful and wonderfully made. Although it’s just a dream… but to me… it’s the best dream that I ever had (besides the previous dream about a huge hotel overlooking beautiful scenery). God is just awesome.

Dog catchers acted cruelly, alleges rescuer

Saw this article on The Star Online (link was posted by my friend on his FB status). My heart sank, as I read and feel like crying. Oh Lord! How to deal with people like these? How do we teach them to show love & compassion for your creation? *sigh*

INDEPENDENT stray dog rescuer Amy Foo had the shock of her life recently as she was taking a leisurely morning stroll near her home in Bandar Kinrara, Puchong.

Foo, 32, alleges that she saw a group of five men, several of them in Subang Jaya Municipal Council (MPSJ) uniform, beating a dog and forcing it out through the railings of a locked gate.

“I heard a dog yelping in pain as I was taking my walk, and went to investigate what was going on.

“What I saw made my blood turn cold as several of the men had climbed over the gate into the premises of the locked empty house and were hitting a dog which had taken shelter there,” she said.

Since the gate was locked, the men proceeded to drag the medium-sized dog out through the narrow railings of the gate, she alleged.

“The railings began to graze and cut the dog in the mouth and ear region and there was a lot of blood, and the frightened dog was screaming in pain,” alleged Foo tearfully.

Foo said she approached the men who scolded her for interfering and threatened to compound her for obstructing them.

In pain: The dog with one of its ears injured after the ordeal.

“They also began to use more force on the poor dog after I had approached them,” alleged Foo, who added that she believed that the dog was not a stray as it was wearing a collar chain.

Distraught and not knowing what to do, Foo contacted several other independent dog rescuers, who immediately called Selangor executive councillor in charge of local councils Ronnie Liu, who advised them to lodge a police report.

Foo lodged a report at the Puchong police station and rushed to the MPSJ dog pound located not very far from the area.

“What I saw there only depressed me further as the dog was locked up in the pound, bleeding and in pain,’’ alleged Foo.

When contacted, MPSJ president Datuk Adnan Md Ikshan said he would look into the matter as well as speak to the relevant officers.

Meanwhile, Foo and several other independent rescuers are working towards getting the injured dog out of the MPSJ dog pound in Puchong to send it for treatment.

Said one of the rescuers, Leigh Chen, who had rushed with Foo to look for the dog at the pound after it had been brought there: “This dog has undergone a traumatic and merciless ordeal at the hands of the council dog catchers.

“Given this, it is only fair that this unfortunate dog be given a chance to live the rest of its canine life in a loving home after it has been treated for its gruesome injuries.”

Chen added that she hoped municipal council dog catchers and their appointed agents would not resort to cruelty when capturing strays.

“We, the animal rescuers, plead with those who deal with strays to do their job with a sense of compassion coupled with the realisation that animals, too, know fear and pain, just like us human beings,” added Chen.

Those interested in sponsoring the injured dog’s treatment or adopting it can write to malaysiandogsdeservebetter@gmail.com.

Soar on eagle's wings

Went to BM (Bukit Mertajam) for dinner with BB's family. We had Bak Kut Teh for dinner... it was good and cheap, RM 37 for 4 person.
Well, when we were on the Penang bridge, I was sitting behind BB and overlooking the sea (begining of the bridge on my right). I saw 2 birds flying just above the bridge, they were like enjoying themselves on the breezy wind. On my first glance I thought it was eagle's, I love watching eagle's soaring above the skies, it gives me the feeling of freedom and not worry bout' what the world is going through. Makes me feel like soaring in the skies too... how I wish I could try sports like Sky diving or things like that.
When I looked again, its not eagles but some other birds. ^_^"
Although it's not eagles that I saw but somehow God is like reminding me of something. Though we may be facing trials and economy is like plunging down, God is still there for us, He wanted us to depend on Him rather than the $$$ which doesn't promise us anything.
And God is always there to shelter us, to keep us safe and feel love. I'm really amazed by God's creation... Thank You Lord for the wonderful things You have done on this earth.

God is good!

I nearly woke up late this morning. Accidentally turn off my alarm which I'm suppose to snooze it at 7:11am. God is indeed good. I guess He knew I overslept and its Friday!! Cause I need to finish my work early today, rushing off to catch my 7:30pm bus at Pudu. How God woke me up? He works in funny ways... *haha* Some may say this is just coincidence but I doubt.
It was around 8:10am when I check my mobile clock. Of all the days, the sun wasn't that bright but this morning was different.
The sun was shining directly into my room and directly to my face. *giggles* Cool right! Some people might be cursing on the sun cause it's very glaring but I didn't. I was thanking God for the sun alarm *hehe* that He woke me up. Had my shower and back into my room, the sun wasn't shining in my room already. Well, this doesn't happen once but a few times... only when I overslept or when I need to wake up bit earlier to go somewhere.
Thank You Lord!!! love Ya always! *muaks*

Home.. Sweet.. Home..

Stayed home today.. didn't go out. Watched DVD lor, a HK series bout dancing. Haven't finish watching though, stop at episode 10. Been working and watching DVD at the same time. ^_^ Well, my eyes been concentrating on the show rather than the work *hehe* What to do, I have to re-do it cause pastor made some changes and needed by Sunday. No choice.
Guess what I'm listening to... the new song that I just added yesterday on my blog. I think I can memorize the lyrics dy.. *giggles*
While listening to it, lots of things running thru my mind... ermm... I'm not going to type them down here. Need some privacy. *haha*
"What am I thinking right now?" You asked. Well, alot of stuff.
Had a chat with a colleague of mine yesterday in the pantry while having my late lunch. He asked, "So when are you getting married? Have he propose to you yet?" Here we go again... "THE Questions again". My reply was "Dunno.. Not sure. Propose dy la but no plans lor.." His reply, "Oh. So what's your plan? Does it mean you gonna move to PG after married?" Before I reply, in my mind thinking, "I have no choice". Then I said "Ya lor!" He jokingly reply, "Start New Life there ah.." My heart says *how I wish!*, I just gave him a smile and said "Ya lor, how nice". To skip the topic... I change our conversation while I continue having my lunch.
*sigh* Just that short conversation... it makes me miss the people around me. I wonder what will happen when I made that change. Can say that I'm in a dilemma or something.
Tough!!! Oh Lord! What will my plans be?! I know I'm suppose to trust You but its so hard *heartaches* and on the other hand... I know somehow I have to take the step and I couldn't wait for that time to come. Am I feeling vulnerable? I think I am...

Beautiful (as you)...

Found another LOVELY song. Heard it over the radio on my way home today on Traxx FM. Interviewing Jim Brickman live. Not just the lyrics that's lovely... its the pianist that makes the whole song complete. How I wish I could go for his concert and listen to all the songs he compose... *dreaming*

Beautiful As You - All 4 One

Beautiful (as you) - Jim Brickman feat. All 4 One

verse:
From the Moment I saw you,
from the moment I looked into your eyes
there was something about you
I knew, I knew
that you were once in a life time
a treasure near impossible to find
and I know how lucky I am to have you

chorus:
Cause I've seen the rainbows that could take your breath away
the beauty of the setting sun, on any given day
and when it comes to shooting stars, I've seen a few
but I've never seen anything... as beautiful as you

verse:

I can't believe that I have you
I can't believe that you're here in my arms
I've been waiting a lifetime
For you... for you
And I've dreamed about you
Pictured in my mind who I would see
But I never imagined just how beautiful you'd be

chorus:

Cause I've seen the rainbows that could take your breath away
the beauty of the setting sun, on any given day
and when it comes to shooting stars, I've seen a few
but I've never seen anything... as beautiful as you

chorus repeat:

Oh.. oh.. I've seen the rainbows that can take your breath away
the beauty of the setting sun, on any given day... (Oh..
)
and when it comes to shooting stars, I have seen a few
but I've never seen... anything... as beautiful...
Oh.. I've never seen anything... as beautiful as you

from the moment I saw you,
from the moment I looked into your eyes...
