Celine Dion Live in KL

I was so blessed with 2 tickets to go watch Celine Dion Live in KL, although the tickets is not what I have in mind... (was praying hard that I could win 2 x rm1k tickets from Astro) but well, I'm still thankful for it and feel contented. And as long as the person I'm watching with is my BB. ^_^
Concert was AWESOME!First, I was blessed with 2 tickets cos I didn't want to spend additional money due to my holiday trip to Phuket - use alot dy.
Second, I just want to thank God that she changes her concert date from Apr 8 to Apr 13 cos if falls on Apr 8, my BB couldn't make it. He travelled down after his work. So Sunday night is a good timing, he can spend another day in PJ before heading back to PG.
Third, I want to thank God that He stop the rain just in time for us. It was pouring heavily on Sunday bout 3pm, I wasn't worried that time-thinking that the rain will stop but we still prepare rain coat.. just incase. ^_^ The night of the concert wasn't hot due to the rain and it cools down the temperature. Even the seat that we were seating was dry and we had good seats (we reach there bout 7:30pm), AMAZING right. God is indeed great! Praise God!
Concert starts bout 8:45pm, lots of people complain, well who doesn't! While waiting, a few guai mui (foreign gals) taught the crowds to do the mexican waves. First few attempts was bit cacated cos it doesn't flows to the end. But after a while, the mexican waves starts from the beginning and flows right till the end... it was fun and it stirs the crowds abit (sort of like ice breaker). Imagine, only one person did a difference in that concert and the whole crowd follows. It made me wonder how Jesus like when He was doing all those miracle and so on.

Before the concert starts (bout 8:30pm), a malay lady announces the arrival of our king & queen... well, everyone thought she was announcing of Celine Dion but nope. So the people were booing. I feel bit upset cos Msian doesn't pay respect to our king & queen (although some say how much bad things he has done), I felt its not us to judge him, its God who is able to do so. After the booing, I saw the foreign gal asked some malay gals behind her, why people booing, what did the lady announce just now. I was looking at the malay gal, I feel disgrace and if its me, I wouldn't know how to answer the foreigner. This is just the first part of it...

When Celine came out and presented the first song, she thank the people that were at the concert and apologizing to her fans for the incovenience cause for the postponed. Then she gave a short speech, she felt so honour to have the king & queen in the midst and thanking God for such a clear & cool evening. And you know what, just after she mention the king & queen, the peopl around my side were booing them. Another disgrace and disrespect to the Msians.

The concert went well... but it seems so short. The funny thing is, some people were complaining after the concert. Saying they went to other artist (HKies) concert are better than guai lou's concert. Start so late and so on. Come on la... what you expect... all Celine Dion's songs are power pack... imagine yourself singing for 2hrs non-stop and most of the songs are screaming and shouting, using her lungs. How to compare with HKies??? Sometimes I felt that people just doesn't use their brains before they speak it out. Sigh!

Phuket Trip

Just came back from my trip. Spent 4D 3N from Apr 9-12, 08 with BB @ Patong Beach Phuket.
Trip was GREAT! We arrive @ Phuket Airport bout 1pm (thailand time) and we had a free ride to our hotel by JC Tour, we pre-booked our Island Hopping trip & FantaSea trip. Took us bout 45mins-1 hour to reach our hotel. Imagine how far it is to go to the beach. We stayed in Patong Resort, which is good.
On the day we arrive, we walked around Patong Beach, checking out the mall and the food. Looking for local food (e.g typical thai food, fried stuff and etc) sadly we can't find it. So we went to this back-lane food area. I ordered Fried rice with beef and BB ordered Tom-Yum soup noodle. Not too bad la the food. After makan, we continue our walk. Jungceylong Mall was good... biggest at Patong Beach. ^_^ When we were on our way back from Carrefour @ Jungceylong, a local guy called us and giving us a free pen cos they were promoting their new hotel at Laguna Beach. And he said we can tour around the lagoon for free (90mins tour) without any obligation and even giving us a free voucher (different voucher we can choose e.g lunch/dinner/trip to FantaSea/Spa/golf). Well, we pick a free lunch voucher cos we already bought our tickets to FantaSea by JC Tour.. too bad. And we made the plan for Friday @ 10am.
The next day we went Island Hopping on Apr 10, 08. They came to pick us up bout 8am, reach the jetty bout 9am and we waited for other people to arrive. Took off on the speed boat bout 10am. First we went to Phi Phi Island which took bout 40mins to arrive there and we stop over at Viking Caves. We were lucky that we can go inside to see the caves cos it was high tide, the tour guide said that usually that place was low tide only small boats can enter. The sea was so beautiful and clear, makes you feel like jumping into the sea for snorkeling. Sadly we didn't cos it was not in the package. Then we passed by Loh Sama Bay and Pileh Cove, while we set off to our next destination.
Next off, we stopped at Maya Bay. The place is JUST AWESOME. We spent bout 40mins at that lovely beach. I love the sand and the sea. So clear and the sand is just so smooth. We saw one angmo took naked photo there (posing on the sand).. haha.. and some were sun bathing naked. Well, nothing much to say cos they are foreigners. Right after that we went for a 30mins snorkeling just outside Maya Bay.. water wasn't clear and its really deep, can't see much of corals just fishes. Later we stop at a place for buffet lunch, we have to walked bit further to that place for lunch. Beautiful scenery, facing mountains and seas. And I met a lady whose daughter gonna have a wedding at that place. How romantic huh! Really beautiful.
Our last stop was Khai Island, took another 40mins to reach. We spent bout an hour and half at that last island. You can go snorkeling, swim around, go sun bathing and even enjoy a cup of cocktail or beer at the bar. You need to pay la of course.. haha.. That place not too bad la.. but compare to the other beach that we went... I still love Maya Bay (the tour guide said it was called monkey island cos there's monkeys around).
After our last island, we set back to Phuket Island which took bout 15mins. I think they bring us to the furthest island and come back on the way. We reach back to the jetty bout 4.30pm and head straight back to our hotel which takes another 45mins. We feel so sticky cos of the sea water (salt water.. haha), the first thing we had in mind was to jump into the pool once we reach our hotel. I just love swimming, the pool was so nice and warm and the jacuzzi... I missed it so much.
On Friday (Apr 11, 08), we went for our breakfast at bout 9:20am cos we waited for the guy to call and confirm our trip to Laguna (the guy we met @ Carrefour). He didn't call us so we went for our breakfast, and we sort of waited for them to pick us up @ the lobby at 10am (we were on time). Guess what! They didn't turn up!!! We were bit pissed and we waited for 30mins and still no one turn up to pick us. So, we change our plan and decided to go to Phuket Town taking the mini bus. We waited by the side walk, no mini bus... so a tut-tut guy asked us where we want to go and we said to Town. So he offered us 350baht to Town and he'll drop us at Cashew Nut Factory to buy some Cashew Nuts before heading to Town. So as we hop on to the tut-tut, there comes the mini bus. Shish! missed it! If not we would have saved some money to buy other stuff than spending on that tut-tut. Town area was bit boring cos nothing much to see. We went hunting for Cashew Nuts and some peanuts around that area. But its hard to find lor... We walked around then a taxi man offer some helped and he'll bring us around Town to visit. Well, we hoped onto his taxi and that cost us 500baht.. he bring us to everywhere we want and he said if we helped him, he'll helped us.. like dropping us to those tourist area to get some stamp so he can earn some money. He brought us to this Gems shop which we thought we'll walked one round and off we go but then.. haha.. we bought some souvenirs. After that the taxi man fetch us back to the first mall that we saw the peanuts, and he fetch us back to our hotel. We went for a swim again after we reach back. And get ourselves ready for our FantaSea trip. FantaSea was cool. Love that place but its not enough time for us to walked around cos when we reach there, we head to the buffet palace. Not enough time cos we have only 30mins to walk around to take pictures and looked at some stuff. We were bit late for our show which starts @ 9pm. The show was fantastic.. too bad we cannot capture some video of it cos they don't allow video recording and photo taking, they want you to buy from them. So we smuggle in our camera but still didn't take any. I manage to buy a tshirt and a toy elephant for myself and a tshirt for my niece. That's all I bought for myself la.. oh.. and a bag and shorts while we were walking along the streets at Patong which I didn't write it down. We were rushing cos the guy who suppose to fetch us back asked us to meet at entrance bout 10:40pm and we were like 5mins late but then again, we waited for like another 10mins for 2 elderly couples that came out late. Sigh! If we went to the Laguna Beach in the morning we wouldn't have waste money for our transport and lunch. Anyway, BB get to buy a new bag and his peanuts and cashew nuts.. is a good thing also la. Phuket stuff is so much expensive, I think I rather spend @ Hatyai.
Saturday Apr 12,08. Our last day @ Phuket. We woke up early for breakfast and we went out to Patong Beach to snap some photos. Well, after visiting Phi Phi Island, we thought that Patong Beach is just like Penang Beach... nothing fantastic bout it. We walked around but nothing much during daytime, so we head back to hotel to rest till we checked out.
Hired a taxi to Phuket Airport that cost us 550baht. All we left was 220baht, just enough for a Burger King meal at Airport. We shared our meal le... we used up all our money which we thought we could save some on our 3rd day. haha.
That's the end of the story of our trip to Phuket. We spent the rest of the hour at the airport, resting cos we were there so early. Will post up some photos shortly and bit of captions, won't elaborate more on it cos I've said it all. ^_^

Easter Sunday

This video was taken during Easter Sunday (Mar 23, 08), Pastor was interviewing 2 new Christians. I posted one up cos I find her testimony very down to earth.

God is Awesome!

I'm so happy that I get to go watch Celine Dion concert.. yay! Some one blessed me with 2 concert tickets, although its not the rm1k ticket that I'm hoping to win from Astro.. but it's still good enough, feel contented.
Actually, a friend of mine wanted to buy me the tickets but then so happen the girl's bf still keen to watch (due to the change of dates, people can't make it) so, too bad lor. That was the first part of the story, thinking that I can't go.
After awhile, another friend of mine drop into my mind (earlier she asked me whether I want the concert tickets cos her friend can't make it too) but I told her i don't want cos am waiting for the free tickets. Then I quickly sms her to check out on the 2 tickets, whether her friend sold the tickets or not. Thank God, she replied me saying her friend still having the tickets, can't seem to sell it away.
So I told my friend (the person who wanted to bless me) that I found 2 tickets and to confirm whether to take it or not.. well, everything seem to confirm on the same day which I'm so HAPPY now... YAY!!!
Celine Dion... I'm coming.. HAHA...
Thank You Lord!!!

Asleep in the Light

Here's another video that my pastor did as part of his sermon illustration. Song lyrics and artist is by Keith Green. Lyrics very down to earth and makes you feel bad. ^_^

God gifted talent

aiseh... accidentally deleted this video.. here's the same video of the little korean girl who's born blind and she's only 5yrs old. she's able to listen and play the song at the age of 3yrs old. amazing God gifted talent. God is really fair... giving them the ability to shine forth His glory.

Being stir to write

Ever since my friend started blogging and me reading through their blogs... it stirs me to write something here. Sheesh! Tempted! *giggles*
Well, last nite I joined the prayer meeting in my church cos I'm on Visual duty (confession time: I only go when I'm on duty.. oops!) and to sacrifice my American Idol on Channel 711, although I can still watch the 11:30pm repeat but it'll be late when it ends (not that I sleep early.. duh!)

So I stayed back in church and went IT shopping with my colleague just after working hours.

Prayer Meeting starts @ 8:30pm, the meeting was alright until Pr R asked Uncle F to talk bout his son's health. To rewind abit, his son was suffering with some sickness.. don't know what it called. Somehow there's virus or bacteria floating in his blood, so he needs lots of antibiotic to kill off those bacteria (not every antibiotic suits that bacteria). So it causes his left arm and legs to be weak and numb. He was actually discharged last week and resting at home but somehow another bacteria got into his blood and need to admit into hospital again and having high fever. And yesterday he was discharged, now at home resting, Praise God!

So as pastors and church member lay hands on Uncle F to pray for his family and his son... I was sitting at the computer table stretching my hands and pray. I felt a sense of love and my tears started flowing down. Tears of compassion (that's what I felt), as I asked God to strengthens the family and giving them peace and joy in the house. Wherelse the pastors and members are cursing the demonic spirits that in Uncle F's son and casting out the fever and bacteria's. I don't usually feel this way when praying but yesterday was exceptional.

Need to continue to believe that God's healing power is in our hands. Jesus has given us the authority to cast out demons and lay hands on the sick... so we need to believe that too. Peter is the only person (after Jesus' death), to heal few thousands of people (blind, deaf & disables) although he's the first to denied Christ 3 times but in the end he repented and do the work of Christ.

Continue to believe that God is at work when we believe that HE CAN heal. Amen!

Confused!!!

Well, don't get me wrong.. I'm not confused. *giggles* Its just that I bumped into a confused person and she's filled with lots of worries, distractions, thoughts of people cursing her and etc... She claimed herself as a psychiatrist doctor and frankly speaking, she knows every medication when you tell her about your sickness. She can prescribe you to certain medicine for you and you can buy it from the pharmacy. Well, from what I mention she doesn't looks like a troubled person right... but NOPE.. from her look you can see that there's something wrong with the person and her mind is not thinking right. Whatever you advise or counsel her, she don't seem to take it and she'll wonder off from the topic or the question that you asked her. She'll then answer you in a different way and gives you different answer. Usually I don't attend to this type of people cos you know that they are troubled and you can sense in your spirit that there's something wrong with their spiritual life. Just some advise, if you happen to meet people like that, don't curse them cos it'll add even more pressure and demons in them. *haha* It'll take forever to deliver all those demons out of her body. Like one of my cleaner lady said (this doctor usually look for her for chats), whenever she talk to her, the cleaner lady will (in her heart) break off whatever spirit that's inside the doctor, so that the spirit will not affect her. But then, while the cleaner lady was asking God to break that spirit, the doctor will eventually move away from her, not wanting to talk more bout her situation cos the devils smells fear and they will try whatever way to leave. Whatever it is, we need the discernment spirit to guide us in our daily life so that whenever we meet people, we're able to say the right words.

Time goes by...

Just drop by to check my blogspot account.. there I realise that I haven't been updating it almost a year now (after March will be a year).
I've so called moved to Multiply.com instead cos I found out that its much more convenient for me. I can upload photos/songs and update my blog at the same time without any html codings and so on.
Why I am here bcos one of my friend just started her own blog, which I was trying to convince her to use multiply instead of this web. But well, too bad, she already in the midst of creating hers.

Recently I find that I hradly even write what in my mind now or even pouring out my feelings in any of the blogs. Some sort of lazy to spend hours typing and how many people will come across your blog to view what you wrote unless your blog is one of the place where people are interested in those juicy gossip bout the WORLD!

Frankly speaking, I'm addicted to this web called Facebook. There's so many things that you can do in there like sending flowers or animals to your friends, poking ppl, sending interesting pictures and sharing stuff. That's the only web that I'm currently attach to... even my multiply blog has been stop for ages now (erm.. not as long as this blog la..) ^_^

Its nice to come back to check out my friends blog once in awhile.. so far I only had 2 friends thats been faithfully updating their blogs. hehe. Which I'm very impressed cos with all the photos and all.. makes it more interesting.

Ok la.. guess I have to stop here.. don't want to spend too much time in here. Adios!

Long break...

wow! it's been months since i last updated my blog here. well, not that i don't have anything to write, just being lazy la. guess i don't have the habit to write blogs or journals. i have alot of scrap books & 'dear diary' where i kept all my personal stuff in.. guess its all in cob-web now. hmm.. wonder whether i remember where i kept them or not..
anyway, recently (2 days ago), i bought a book at MPH bookstore @ 1U. i hardly read books or even purchase them.. but i find this book quite interesting. the book title called Encounters with God (similar to a book that my church just release last year 06). its a short story bout real life people & these people are all ladies & they're now big time speaker for different organization, churches & even author of their own books, touching lives & speaking bout God's love. i love books like these.. short & easy to recognise the content of the story & spending that intimate moment with God.
on my next blog.. i'll probably share some stories that touch my heart, so that it may touch your hearts too. so, stay tune.. will update a story in a day.. hugs!

Indonesian Workers in Malaysia Attack Dog Calling Him "Haram" (Forbidden by Islam)

Pictures & article is taken from this blog: RSC (Remembering Sheena Campaign)

It's really sad to see such cases in Malaysia. Although those dogs are stray but should we go torture them and kill them??? Sometimes I felt that we humans don't use our brains that much... How could they kill a harmless animal and on the other hand call them as "MAN BEST FRIEND"? Is eating them consider "Man Best Friend" or killing them & torturing them? This is cruelty lor... My heart aches after looking at the pictures & reading the article. It's like you can't do anything to keep them safe... cos you can't really do anything to stop it. The stray dogs are just too many. We're outnumbered.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Furry Friends Farm and The Remembering Sheena Campaign held a Press Conference on December 14, 2006 to highlight the plight of Joy, a stray dog that had been so cruelly beaten by Indonesian workers that his lower jaw was crushed.

At about 9am on Dec 2, 2006, Sabrina Yeap, managing partner of the Furry Friends Farm (FFF), rescued a dog at the Ki-Park Sri Utara construction site belonging to developer, Kepong Industrial Park Sdn Bhd (KIP Group). The site is situated about 10km from the Batu Caves roundabout, heading towards Sungei Buloh and Kepong.

The lower jaw of the dog was dangling and his tongue was hanging out. Two eye-witnesses who pleaded with Sabrina to help the dog, said they had seen him being beaten by Indonesian foreign workers who kept calling the dog “haram” as he was attacked.

Sabrina took the dog, which she later named Joy, to the veterinary clinic. Joy’s lower jaw was so badly injured it had to be surgically removed, but the tongue was saved despite having lacerations and blood clots.
As representative of RSC, I spoke to Mr Kok Pick Tong, one of the four managing directors of KIP Group which employs the workers that ill-treated Joy.

I requested permission for Dr Habeeb Rahman Ibramsa, who lectures in Quran and Sunnah Studies at the International Islamic University in Gombak, Selangor, to give a talk to all their foreign workers on Islam’s clear stand of compassion towards animals, including dogs. Mr Kok refused to co-operate.

On December 4, 2006, RSC sent an official letter to Mr Kok making this request along with the request by FFF for the KIP Group to bear all of Joy’s medical expenses and maintenance at the FFF, an animal shelter which has decided to adopt Joy. Mr. Kok has ignored all letters and telephone calls from RSC.

On December 6, 2006, RSC wrote to Dr. Subramaniam, Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Housing and Local Government, Datuk Seri Ong Ka Ting, the Minister of Housing and Local Government, Tan Seri Datuk Seri Panglima Bernard Dompok, Minister in charge of the Public Complaints Bureau, and Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.

The letters were sent out to these parties appealing to the government to be more pro-active in the area of animal welfare in Malaysia.

There has been much public outcry over the banning of a select number of dogs in Shah Alam, the mass “murder” of Mr Eng Her Sun’s dogs by the Seremban Municipal Council’s death squad ( http://www.thepetitionsite.com/takeaction/947146655 ), the cruel culling of birds by the Department of Veterinary Services during the bird flu scare, the increase in pet dumping and abuse of stray animals and pets.

RSC invited lecturer in Quran and Sunnah Studies at the International Islamic University in Gombak to give a talk to the Indonesian workers but the developer did not allow it.

Hence, RSC and FFF are calling for the Government to support their education programmes that are aimed at ending this needless violence towards animals. Next year is Visit Malaysia Year 2007, and already tourists are squirming at Malaysia’s ill-treatment and cruelty to animals – from wildlife to domestic pets.

“We are not asking the government to find and punish the people who did this to Joy, although the laws of Malaysia provide for this. We are calling on the Government to support our public education projects by persuading the developer, KIP Group, to allow us to educate their workers,” said Sabrina Yeap.

“I wish to end this ignorance that the Quran supports violence against animals, and am willing to give lectures, presentations and screen videos that support what I am saying. I hope the public, Government officials, foreign workers and others who need to hear this truth will attend,” said Dr. Habeeb Rahman Ibramsa, Lecturer in Quran and Sunnah Studies at the International Islamic University, Gombak, Selangor.

Today Joy has to carry on living without his lower jaw and teeth. He can only eat soft food for the rest of his life. RSC was invited to a meeting called "Dasar Kawalan Anjing" (Guidelines to Control Dogs) in February this year, along with 30 other NGOs by Dr. Subramaniam Parliamentary Secretary at the Ministry of Housing and Local Government.

To-date nothing has been done by the government and we are wondering what the meeting was for. They should instead have held a meeting called "Dasar Kawalan Manusia" (Guidelines to Control Humans)

** Here's another blog on Joy bout his condition now. Do view the blog.. RSC - Joy

Dream, Dream, Dream....

Having bad dreams for the pass 2 days (Nov 20&21). So there's gonna be 2 dreams in this blog. Don't want to post so many blogs la.. cos I don't have a title for it. Rather just name them Dreams....

Here's the first dream I had on Nov 20, 06.

The dream that I had on the nov 20 was a little weird & funny . Running away from someone that I don't even know cos was so called "pressured" by my 2 frens in my dream (whom I don't remember when I woke up in the morning) and they said that the guys are after them. So most of the time sneaking around the place, trying to look for a way out. Then the next minute, one of the gals was caught or I should say trap on her ankle (like those chain trap) and the other was hit by something heavy and by the time she was up, she was trap by some chain. So both of them were crying and asking me to help them out, the whole scene was very intense. I can still remember them saying, "Angie, hurry up.. take this chain off me." Both screaming to me at the same time saying, "Help me first!". I was looking at their chains and told them "How am I suppose to take out these chains, I don't have any tools or whatsoever with me!". Again the situation was very intense, so I simply unscrew it with my hands, feeling the pain on my fingers and try hard to open it up. Thank God the 2 gals was release. Hearing man voices behind us, we quickly run to the back of the hall way, looking for a way out.

Pass the kitchen, I thought to myself, "This looks familiar..." know what, we were in my own house kitchen. When I turn back to my frens, they were gone and the next moment I was holding the back door keys on my hand. Quietly opening the door lock and hearing man speaking above me (there's a room above the kitchen) one man was asking the other man, "Did you hear noises just now?" and the other guy said "No!". While I was quietly sneaking out of the door and locking it back and slowly walk away from the back alley.

No idea what dream is that about... and I had no idea where that 2 gals went to. They just disappeared. Weird huh!

______________________________________________

The second dream on Nov 21, 06

One of my colleague told me she had a bad dream on Nov 20. Bout a few car accidents in front of her at the same time and she couldn't sleep after that due to the dream and feeling un-peaceful. Don't know what was it about.

So, yesterday, I had the dream of bus accident right in front of me.

I think I was with my colleague walking (don't know where the place is) and I saw something nice below a small hill or something and my colleague went down and see while I was on top of that hill looking down. She called me to go down and see. While walking down, taking every step carefully, I saw an image like a tarantula at the side, super huge. Its a mixture of black & dark brown color and it blend with the soil so you can't really it if you walk pass. I thought it was just an image cause by the small rocks and soil and I call out to my colleague asking her to come see this... Just after I called her, I saw that thing move. The head was moving left and right following my movement. I was terrified.. so I quickly walk away cos I don't want the tarantula to jump at me and I told my colleague that nothing special la cos she was about to walk towards me. Super huge... its about a size of an A4 paper.

Half way walking down.. out of a sudden a bus ran over and turn turtle right in the middle of the small hill. I was shocked cos it was right in front of me and my colleague terrified. But immediately I was calm down and run over to help them out of the way. Cos I saw those people in the bus tumble down and scared. I walked over and open the door but it couldn't open till someone from the inside tried to kick open it, some were able to come out unhurt but some were hurt really bad. I saw a baby was squashed to death and stuck in the middle of the bus. I walked to the emergency exit door (most of the bus has the emergency exit but I think out of 100%, 10% or less than that of the buses doors don't work). I was struggling to opened it but couldn't budge open it, not even the inside.

It was horrible, seeing them suffer and I can't help. Really sad to see this things happen . I can't remember what happens after that.. Got up from my sleep. Was troubled and thinking what was that dream about... Is God trying to tell me something or was it the devil thats trying to disturb my sleep. *sigh*

Erwin boy

Erwin boy's new picture... a picture of him smiling... So cute le..

Guess he'll be another child that loves by many people.. just like the sister.. hehe..
