Retreat with Life Cafe

Went for a 2D1N retreat to PG (Yes PG!) with some church members who are serving in Welcome Centre & Traffic Marshall. I wasn't serving in neither Welcome Centre nor Traffic Marshall... FG invited me to join them cos this year onwards I'll be the liason person to the ministry. We stayed in Gurney Hotel (2 bedroom apartment), this trip is more of like eating, eating and eating... and I stayed additional one more day at PG to teman BB (left PG on Sunday cos BB cannot take anymore leaves on Mon). *sigh*
Didn't take much photos though cos' we have a pro photographer with us - PY with her SLR. Some of my pictures are bit blur so don't want to put them up la... *phai seh* Will just put some of the room photos up here.pic 1: Master bedroompic 2: view frm master bedroom

Surprise frm BB...

BB surprised me with a bouquet of wild tulips on my birthday, all the way from Holland and it arrived on the day itself. Aww... makes me feel so special.. love you BB *muaks*.. hehe.. Well, the flower lasted a week plus cos I put it inside the fridge to cool it down but unfortunately it died yesterday. I took it out to decor the dining table and didn't keep it back into the fridge. Happy liau la... to receive tulips on my birthday.
Didn't have my birthday cake on the day itself... erm.. actually mom did bought me a slice but didn't blow or whatsoever la. We postponed my birthday celebration a few days later cause there's a public holiday on the Monday (BB don't have purposely take his leave). So we had BBQ at my house and got this jelly cake for my birthday (cum dessert for the night).

Seaparkian's Reunion...

Went for a Reunion lunch with some old friends... 10 people turn up that day. Went to Mdm Kwan's @ Bangsar.
It has been a very long time since we last met... like 12 years ago. *haha* Sometimes we did bump into one another at shopping malls and so on...
Lunch was good, some came like SOOOOO late... (I didn't mean D cos she already told us in advance that she'll be late..) waited for 45 mins and moreover... she's the person that I don't want to see. Annoying. The last round I saw her was 2008 CNY reunion dinner. One year later, still the same... NO CHANGE.
Came late and expect to change seat with another friend... super attention seeker!!!
Don't want to talk about her la...
Most of them were like married and some have kids... only 4 of us were not attached yet. ^_^

Staff Retreat...

Went for Staff Retreat at Eagle's Ranch, PD on Feb 15-16. There's 15 of us that went, suppose to be 16 but JL couldn't make it cos her boss haven't approved her leave application. JL, ML & PC aren't full-time staff but they were like Volunteer to work in different department. It's a 2D 1N retreat, not enough la... not enough time to play everything. There were a few types of accommodation to choose from. It was kinda cute and fun. I stayed alone cos JL wasn't there, shared room with her. They have things like Go Kart, Paintball, Swimming pool, basketball, team building activities, there's a pub/bar and inside the pub there's darts, Foosball and pool table (need money of course except for the darts). Some of them played few rounds of pool and some were playing darts... I didn't know that darts can be so difficult to play. I thought you just have to throw and aim at the red dot in the middle to score more points. *haha* Quite sad la that I didn't bring my swim wear, the weather was so hot! I didn't get to play Go Kart cos H said that the Kart is 40CC car and if we sit on it... you'll probably taken half of the CC away. Anyway, 5 laps cost RM20... its not FOC ya! Some of the activity you need to pay for it, like cycling, Go Kart, Paintball, and team building. FOC will be the Swimming pool, table tennis, volleyball, basketball and soccer. The next morning, we had breakfast and then we had a picture hunt team building. We split into 2 teams and suppose to walk around the whole place to look for the pictures and item on the paper (it was a photocopied... imagine how hard is it to look for it). There's 5 sheets of paper, so we scattered the paper and we went 2 by 2. We were given 45mins to complete. We were the first to complete but we had one question wrong. *sigh* So we lose to the other group la but we still get a consolation prize.. *haha* RM20 (not bad what). That's about all la... Didn't do much also. Suppose to have a short session on the Sunday night but some of them got stuck playing pool and darts after our dinner. *haha*
Ok... show you guys the photos... no need to write a long story. ^_^Pic 1: As you have seen some photos on the above... we stayed in one of these. 2 storey and they link with one another side by side in one barron. One barron has 4 rooms.Pic 2: This is how the inside look like. the room above is bit hot cos of the hot sun. Didn't take much of the room upstairs.
Pic 3: Another type of accommodation - Tipee rooms. Looks like those red indians territory huh!
Pic 4: Rumah kampung - old village house. I dn't know how the inside look like but its kinda interesting...
