Went for Staff Retreat at Eagle's Ranch, PD on Feb 15-16. There's 15 of us that went, suppose to be 16 but JL couldn't make it cos her boss haven't approved her leave application. JL, ML & PC aren't full-time staff but they were like Volunteer to work in different department. It's a 2D 1N retreat, not enough la... not enough time to play everything. There were a few types of accommodation to choose from. It was kinda cute and fun. I stayed alone cos JL wasn't there, shared room with her. They have things like Go Kart, Paintball, Swimming pool, basketball, team building activities, there's a pub/bar and inside the pub there's darts, Foosball and pool table (need money of course except for the darts). Some of them played few rounds of pool and some were playing darts... I didn't know that darts can be so difficult to play. I thought you just have to throw and aim at the red dot in the middle to score more points. *haha* Quite sad la that I didn't bring my swim wear, the weather was so hot! I didn't get to play Go Kart cos H said that the Kart is 40CC car and if we sit on it... you'll probably taken half of the CC away. Anyway, 5 laps cost RM20... its not FOC ya! Some of the activity you need to pay for it, like cycling, Go Kart, Paintball, and team building. FOC will be the Swimming pool, table tennis, volleyball, basketball and soccer. The next morning, we had breakfast and then we had a picture hunt team building. We split into 2 teams and suppose to walk around the whole place to look for the pictures and item on the paper (it was a photocopied... imagine how hard is it to look for it). There's 5 sheets of paper, so we scattered the paper and we went 2 by 2. We were given 45mins to complete. We were the first to complete but we had one question wrong. *sigh* So we lose to the other group la but we still get a consolation prize.. *haha* RM20 (not bad what). That's about all la... Didn't do much also. Suppose to have a short session on the Sunday night but some of them got stuck playing pool and darts after our dinner. *haha*
Ok... show you guys the photos... no need to write a long story. ^_^Pic 1: As you have seen some photos on the above... we stayed in one of these. 2 storey and they link with one another side by side in one barron. One barron has 4 rooms.Pic 2: This is how the inside look like. the room above is bit hot cos of the hot sun. Didn't take much of the room upstairs.
Pic 3: Another type of accommodation - Tipee rooms. Looks like those red indians territory huh!Pic 4: Rumah kampung - old village house. I dn't know how the inside look like but its kinda interesting...
