Movie day out 2

Went for the above movie with Cyn & Isaac last Saturday (Sept 13). We watched Money No Enough 2 @ Cineleisure cos Cyn haven't been to Cineleisure before, so manage to booked the tickets on Thursday. Not many people watched though, guess the crowd went to GSC @ 1U.
Movie was good. The cast were superb!!! Especially Lai Meng... she's just awesome. One of my friend warn me before hand to bring tissues *haha* saying that you'll cry. Well, true enough, certain part of the scene really makes you cry.
Rather not tell the entire story line...
On Sunday (Sept 14), after Church service, I was chatting with Lai Meng's daughter (she attends my Church), telling her that Lai Meng acted very well and very real and asked her whether she watched the movie. Then she told me that one of her niece (they went to watched together), was crying so loud when she saw her grandma in the hospital dying. And she added that everyone around her was like in suspend and solemn. So you can imagine how well she acted in the movie.
After movie, we went jalan-jalan around Curve and Cineleisure. Cyn bought a dress which I chose for her. The dress really look nice on her lor. ^_^

Chocolate Cheese

Today celebrated Pr R's birthday. A complimentary cake from someone. Cake is from Lafit restaurant - Shangri-La. I think it's Chocolate Cheese. It's yummy.. Apparently the cake is not cheap... that's what I heard.

Speech of Silence

Just finish watching this Hong Kong series called Speech of Silence.Why such Hong Kong series can make you cry so much? I was watching this series alone, finish 3 discs in 2 days. Cried most of the time, whether its happy or sad. This series shows such a reality that maybe some couples out there or even family facing similar problems (i.e. forgiveness, and children returning to their father's - just like the Bible says), which could happen to them as well. At first I thought this series would be one of the romantic series and comes with happy ending but not... in between the story, lots of things which they need to go through, just to be together. I guess I've fallen in love with series like these, good script and good song. Even as you listen to its theme song, it brings tears to your eyes.
*deep sigh* Loving someone doesn't really need to explain much, or even say much. Everything shows from the heart, uses your heart to listen and that's all that matters. Telling the truth and being true to yourself and to the ones you love.

Been busy for the past 2 weeks, after our 'Can Do' Church camp. What am I so busy about? Look at the photo below....

CD & DVD cover

After camp nothing much has been done cos one of my colleague was on leave right after camp for 3 days. So my work for the Camp video was delayed. Well, since I can't get the DVD & Audio CD out, I have to do the CD & DVD cover lor. Using Publisher (which I'm very new in) and thanks to Pr H for telling me how to do it (need to measure). For your info, both CD (with pink on the side) and DVD size are not the same, and not only that... the DVD is those plastic type which need to open up the cover to slot the paper in. But know what, I had fun doing it and I'm proud of myself *giggles*
Especially the CD cover (pink box), I can't print it on my office printer cos it needs A3 size paper. I asked Pr H to help me send to print (after one draft), just go by faith. Thought of asking him to print one piece before confirming the size of it but I didn't, cos' don't want him to waste time at the printer shop. So I asked him to print 10 pieces instead. Big faith huh!

Mike G's case... sad news...

This is no longer a new thing. Its all over the YouTube now and maybe some Christian mag. I was deeply saddened when I first read about it last week. Can't really believe that he did that for whole 2 1/2 years. Somehow my heart sank and I felt what its like to fake/lied about his addictions and I could feel his pain when he took his first step to come out clean, to confess what he has done. Its not easy to tell the truth which has been hidden for 16 years, and I'm sure Mike would have thought of all the consequences that he and his family need to face. Let us all give him another chance to change for the better, you never know what God has plan for him.
Hope that we won't start gossiping bout Mike G. for now, as gossips cause people to stumble. Continue to keep Mike and his families in prayer cos' I'm sure they already gone through alot from the people in their Church, the relatives and thousands of Mike fans across the nations. All they really need is your prayers.
