A promise is a promise

DAY 37 ~ Aug 27, 05

Joshua 24:15

Joshua followed Moses when he was a young man. Then he became the leader. He saw everything God did. God opened the Red Sea for them to cross. He gave them water from the rock. He sent birds for their meat in the desert. He defeated all their enemies. He kept His promise to bring them into their own land. As an old man, Joshua did not forget his promise. He told the people that he and his family would serve God only. Let us also make this same promise for all time – “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

Pray point ~
  • Apologise to God for the times we did not follow Him.
  • Decide to please God and do right rather than follow others.
  • That you and your family will shine for Jesus.
