my Singapore trip

My trip to Singapore was good. Thank God for the accomodation.. and thank u WKeat for letting us stay at her apartment for the weekend. Its a really nice apartment.
Well, our main purpose to Singapore is to catch the Hillsong & Delirious concert but sad to say... we didn't get into the stadium. The crowd was overwhelming... they started queueing since like 4-5pm. Its crazy but then... you get to see the enthusiasm, the fire for God. We didn't get to see such thing unless its a concert by some famous celebrity or when some famous christian band is in Malaysia. Never seen people queueing to go church. haha. The concert is FOC and held for 3 nights (Fri - Sun), we miss the Fri cos we went to Nite Safari instead and also Sat nite cos the stadium was packed. We can't go on sunday nite cos of we're leaving on Sunday afternoon. So, we ask around for the City Harvest Church service.. they held at the stadium too cos of their 16th Anniversary.
On the Sunday morning, we woke up at 6am (never woke up that early in my life to go church). We left the apartment like 7:30am, took MRT to City Hall and had our breakfast there. And from there we go Kallang MRT. When we reach there, we saw youths standing and queueing for the feeder bus but we didn't wait, we took the taxi instead. The taxi driver told us that, his first customer was at 8:15am and from that time onwards he's been going to and fro from the bus stop. Isn't it amazing...? When we reach the stadium bout 9am.. people have started queueing up, we were like the second batch of people so not too bad. The gate open at 9:30am.. which is suppose to open at 10am. After settling down inside the stadium... bout 10:30am, the whole stadium was filled, packed. I can imagine how the concert would be like.
CHC did the worship and an Indonesian guy called Sidney did one song.. he's really good. After the worship, Pr. Kong Hee came out and say, "There's 4 international people that join us this morning... let us welcome our first worship leader..." I was like thinking who will that be cos some guy from CHC says that the Hillsong team won't be joining the Sunday service, so I thought it could be the Delirious band. Well, to my surprise, Pr. Kong invite Darlene Zschech to come out and she presented one song called Pray (from her own album) then followed by Delirious, they presented a song too.
The whole worship was just awesome, and seeing the congregation all hands lifted up and singing in one voice. AWESOME!! God's presence just filled the whole place. CHC creative dance did 2 item, they are really good. After that, Pr. Kong Hee preach a short message, talking about Vision.
The whole service was 3hours. Before the service ends, Pr. Kong invited David Holmes (best guitarist) to play and sing a praise song. He's cool. hehe.
That's all la... the rest of the time we went around shopping malls, go Nite Safari, Esplanade, and more shopping malls, and spending time taking MRT and buses. Oh ya.. the only thing that I miss alot is the Mos Burger. Wish they would open again in PJ. They used to have 2 outlets in Submit and KLCC but sad to say... they close down. Really nice. ^_^
