Victory is OURS!!!

Just to update on my brother. He's OK now, can walk & drive around - he drive himself to the hospital to do dialysis yesterday. ^_^
But he hasn't had any appetite, eat abit of rice. He eat bread most of the time, not good for the body, no nutrition.
Anyway, am happy that he's OK now...
Just 2 days ago, he came out from his room (half naked) asked me to help him wrap his wrist with a towel and tie it with a rubber band. When I looked at him, he's so skinny now. Well, believe for greater miracle cos God is a God of Possibilities. God can healed him totally - AMEN!!! The last shall be a great testimony and a great victory.

Just wanna drop some notes here... Nothing much to say though :-P just some updates here and there, a quick quick one.
1st thing, my brother admitted to hospital last week (again), doc said he has kidney failure and needs to go through dialysis. He admitted in early March (either 1 day before my bday or on my bday itself) he stayed for like a few days (early stage, so need to poke a hole near the neck). So this round, he didn't go for dialysis cos some '#&%^@' crazy guy said no need to go for dialysis when he takes his chinese medicine, can heal without going through it. realy.... &%#$@ So, that's how he ended up in hospital again for listening to that stupid guy. *sigh* Its really heartache to see him in this condition. His body was weak and blood pressure was high. He's been in hospital for a week plus now. Doctor wanted to poke the arm (using hand will be easier) but he has fever off and on so he can't go for that small operation.
So for those who are reading, please keep my brother in your prayer... whatever that's holding him needs to release him from this bondage. The doc allowed to discharge him a night, so he came back home yesterday, but before he reach home, I went to his room to pray (it just pop out to me to pray in his room). Asked God to take over his room and to fill it with His presence and to cleanse the room in His Name. My brother room has alot of stuff in there... don't want to name them. ^_^
Prayfully he'll be in good condition lor.. so that my parents won't be so worried bout him.
Other than that... hmm.. let me see... I have something to say but can't think of it now after I got distracted. ^_^

Retreat with Life Cafe

Went for a 2D1N retreat to PG (Yes PG!) with some church members who are serving in Welcome Centre & Traffic Marshall. I wasn't serving in neither Welcome Centre nor Traffic Marshall... FG invited me to join them cos this year onwards I'll be the liason person to the ministry. We stayed in Gurney Hotel (2 bedroom apartment), this trip is more of like eating, eating and eating... and I stayed additional one more day at PG to teman BB (left PG on Sunday cos BB cannot take anymore leaves on Mon). *sigh*
Didn't take much photos though cos' we have a pro photographer with us - PY with her SLR. Some of my pictures are bit blur so don't want to put them up la... *phai seh* Will just put some of the room photos up here.pic 1: Master bedroompic 2: view frm master bedroom
pic 3: normal room (me & LH shared this room)pic 4: shared toilet. I forgot to snap a photo of the master bedroom's toilet.pic 5: swimming pool @ 7th floor. awesome view.pic 6: children pool + human made beachpic 7: gym - abit cacat, didn't maintain it.pic 8: archery...

Surprise frm BB...

BB surprised me with a bouquet of wild tulips on my birthday, all the way from Holland and it arrived on the day itself. Aww... makes me feel so special.. love you BB *muaks*.. hehe.. Well, the flower lasted a week plus cos I put it inside the fridge to cool it down but unfortunately it died yesterday. I took it out to decor the dining table and didn't keep it back into the fridge. Happy liau la... to receive tulips on my birthday.
Didn't have my birthday cake on the day itself... erm.. actually mom did bought me a slice but didn't blow or whatsoever la. We postponed my birthday celebration a few days later cause there's a public holiday on the Monday (BB don't have purposely take his leave). So we had BBQ at my house and got this jelly cake for my birthday (cum dessert for the night).

Seaparkian's Reunion...

Went for a Reunion lunch with some old friends... 10 people turn up that day. Went to Mdm Kwan's @ Bangsar.
It has been a very long time since we last met... like 12 years ago. *haha* Sometimes we did bump into one another at shopping malls and so on...
Lunch was good, some came like SOOOOO late... (I didn't mean D cos she already told us in advance that she'll be late..) waited for 45 mins and moreover... she's the person that I don't want to see. Annoying. The last round I saw her was 2008 CNY reunion dinner. One year later, still the same... NO CHANGE.
Came late and expect to change seat with another friend... super attention seeker!!!
Don't want to talk about her la...
Most of them were like married and some have kids... only 4 of us were not attached yet. ^_^

Staff Retreat...

Went for Staff Retreat at Eagle's Ranch, PD on Feb 15-16. There's 15 of us that went, suppose to be 16 but JL couldn't make it cos her boss haven't approved her leave application. JL, ML & PC aren't full-time staff but they were like Volunteer to work in different department. It's a 2D 1N retreat, not enough la... not enough time to play everything. There were a few types of accommodation to choose from. It was kinda cute and fun. I stayed alone cos JL wasn't there, shared room with her. They have things like Go Kart, Paintball, Swimming pool, basketball, team building activities, there's a pub/bar and inside the pub there's darts, Foosball and pool table (need money of course except for the darts). Some of them played few rounds of pool and some were playing darts... I didn't know that darts can be so difficult to play. I thought you just have to throw and aim at the red dot in the middle to score more points. *haha* Quite sad la that I didn't bring my swim wear, the weather was so hot! I didn't get to play Go Kart cos H said that the Kart is 40CC car and if we sit on it... you'll probably taken half of the CC away. Anyway, 5 laps cost RM20... its not FOC ya! Some of the activity you need to pay for it, like cycling, Go Kart, Paintball, and team building. FOC will be the Swimming pool, table tennis, volleyball, basketball and soccer. The next morning, we had breakfast and then we had a picture hunt team building. We split into 2 teams and suppose to walk around the whole place to look for the pictures and item on the paper (it was a photocopied... imagine how hard is it to look for it). There's 5 sheets of paper, so we scattered the paper and we went 2 by 2. We were given 45mins to complete. We were the first to complete but we had one question wrong. *sigh* So we lose to the other group la but we still get a consolation prize.. *haha* RM20 (not bad what). That's about all la... Didn't do much also. Suppose to have a short session on the Sunday night but some of them got stuck playing pool and darts after our dinner. *haha*
Ok... show you guys the photos... no need to write a long story. ^_^Pic 1: As you have seen some photos on the above... we stayed in one of these. 2 storey and they link with one another side by side in one barron. One barron has 4 rooms.Pic 2: This is how the inside look like. the room above is bit hot cos of the hot sun. Didn't take much of the room upstairs.
Pic 3: Another type of accommodation - Tipee rooms. Looks like those red indians territory huh!
Pic 4: Rumah kampung - old village house. I dn't know how the inside look like but its kinda interesting...

Gong Xi Fa Cai

Back to work on Feb 3... I'm still on CNY mood lor. I'm sure everyone also feel the same. ^_^
Went to PG on Jan 27 (Tue), BB's family waited for me for lunch. Reach PG abit late around 3pm, then had late lunch around 4pm.
We rest for awhile after lunch, went for a quick shower and then out again with BB to pick up his Aunty and cousin at 6pm for dinner. BB's youngest uncle brought us out for dinner at Butterworth.
Nothing much happen that night, traffic was OK. After dinner, we linger around awhile at his grandpa's apartment... his cousin sister's were gambling but we didn't. Laze around, watch tv. Left the apartment around 1145pm. Something funny happen, we thought of taking the ferry ride cos afraid that the bridge might jam. We reached the ferry terminal, about to pay at the counter and the conversation goes like this...

malay guy: "12.20 boleh tak?"
BB: "Huh!".
malay guy:
"12.20 boleh tak?"
BB:
"Oh boleh (reach to his pocket and get rm20 out)."
malay guy: "Bukan... pukul 12:20 boleh tak?"
BB:
"Oh... pukul 12:20. Saya ingat you kata pukul 12 you charge rm20.
malay guy:
"Oh bukan.."
BB: "Tak apa la... pukul 12:20 sudah sampai ke Penang dah."

So we reverse back and make a U-turn out. We need to fetch BB's Aunty and cousin home and using ferry will be nearer. We were laughing in the car... thinking what the malay guy said. BB and his Aunt thought that the malay guy said after 12am is rm20 and as for myself and his cousin, we thought that it's rm12.20 for the ride. *haha* Joker la!

On Wed, both BB & I watched 2 movies back to back. BB's family went for movie as well, 4 of us watched Alls Well Ends Well, whereas BB's dad watched Red Cliff by himself. And our second movie was Underworld. Not bad la the movie, prefers the 1st & 2nd Episode. We eat home most of the time cos BB's mom cooked, so we went home for dinner.

This CNY was OK OK, nothing much happen. BB fetch me home on Friday. Well, we thought that it won't be that heavy traffic but then... we speak too soon. There's an accident and guess what, it happened at the same area that we caught jam on during the New Year eve. This round is area 418, a truck overturn.

As for Saturday, we went to Malacca for a day trip. Love you BB *muaks* my long awaited Malacca trip. Met up with Jerry for lunch - we had Beef Noodle. *yum* but sadly Mr Jerry not free to teman us that day, got a gig (fyi, he plays the drums). So we went on our way after he lead us to Jonker Walk with the back road (not so jam). Really need to thank him, purposely show us the way. Lots of changes in Malacca.. they basically upkeep the place i.e. clean the river and restoring the building & pathway alongside the river. Pretty cool. We visited the Muzium, lots of things to see and it cost rm5 per person. Then we went for the boat ride cost rm15 (includes a tour guide), there's a cheaper ride (which we didn't know) cost rm10 but that ride is without the tour guide. He basically explain the history of the river, the houses and building along the river and what are the things that they're going to restore. Pretty cool.
Lastly, we went for Menara Taming Sari (Revolving Tower), cost rm10 per person for Malaysian. We went at night and the lights were amazing. I wish that KL would have one Revolving Tower, it'll be the center of attention... moreover KL's night lights are more beautiful and over looking KLCC and KL Tower. After the ride we walk Jonker Walk for awhile and it started to have light drizzle but unfortunately, we didn't manage to walk the entire street cause the rain getting heavier (purposely buy umbrella to walk too). *sigh* Guess will need to go Malacca again... right baby! (^_^)v *please nod ur head*
I didn't get to visit Mr Jerry's studio and BB haven't get to eat his Satay Celup. So there again another reason to go Malacca. *haha*
Anyway, got pen off now. Adios!

Lovin'It

BB and his family went to Genting on Friday night cos his dad has got this 3D 2N stay at Highland hotel. I went up by myself on Saturday morning - took the bus ride from 1 Utama at 9am. The earliest bus is at 8am and I reach 1U ard 8:30am. The cost of the bus is rm8.50, including Skyway ride. Not suppose to buy with the Skyway (cable car) lor... forgot to tell the guy, wasted rm5. I wanted to take the Skyway but BB don't allow. You know why la... he afraid the cable car might drop cos there's alot of report about the Skyway.
I reach Genting about 9:50am and I waited for BB at the Skyway lobby. Weather was cold... not that misty la. It's nice to go Genting once in awhile... to get away from the hot weather in PJ.
Nothing much to do la in Genting, we didn't go Theme Park nor the Casino, just walk around First World and played Motion Master, which not as excited as "those" days, with those excited ride on the edge... BB aggreed with me too. I don't mind going into the Theme Park but the entrance fees is too expensive. Need to go ask my sis, whether she have the buy 1 free 1 voucher for Theme Park.
The room in Highland Hotel was cool. Their toilet, bath tub and shower were separated... toilet and shower were in separate cubicle. So if you're there with another friend, you don't have to wait to use the toilet.. cool right!
BB fetch me home on Saturday night and stayed over at my place for a night. Cause I have to attend church service on Sunday *sigh* I have no choice cause 2 of my colleagues went back to hometown and I'm the only person who will be around to open up the doors and to lock them. If not I would love to stay a night in Genting lor. It rain at the right time cause we leave around 8:35pm and it started to drizzle and later poured like cats and dogs. Really chilling at that moment and misty.
BB went back to Genting on Sunday morning after we had breakfast nearby my church.
Anyway, I'm suppose to add some photos during New Year eve and also this Genting trip... I'm just lazy for that now. ^_^ Sorry la folks.
Happy Chinese New Year guys... Gong Hei Fatt Choy...!

Resolutions.....

Do I have one for this year? Well, its hard to say. I've had resolutions or let me re-phrase... I've had resolutions that never come to completions. Sad right! Either half complete or never at all.
So what am I writing this blog for, since I can't fulfill them anyway. ^_^
I do really want to stay focus to what I want to achieve in every year, saying is easier than doing. *HA*
I don't really know what I want and where I wanna be in 5 yrs time. All I can say is I'll probably be in PG but in terms of job... really don't know. I used to have resolutions like travel around 2-3 times a year, do something fun and experience different culture and atmosphere. Well, it didn't really come to past due to $$ (you know what I mean). Money is always the issue.
When I first started to work in a church office, I was glad and on the other side, I'm just a normal girl came out after High School who doesn't know anything bout office working life. Used to work as Sales girl in a Christian Bookshop before I came full time. I was also glad and did not regret in learning Microsoft office in 3mths. Yes! I did Microsoft Office in 3mths. Just the basics and that's where I develop an interest in power point and thank God for my colleagues who teaches me alot along the way. I was blessed.
After joining full time, passion starts to stir. Somehow Mission is on my mind but the same thing again... it's all about $$$. No money no talk and I'm that type of person who doesn't really save money. Saving money is not on my list. ^_^ But I did went for some Mission trip like Cambodia.
Only after I met BB, we started to travel to different places but not over the sea kind of trip - until last 2yrs ago, we travelled to HK & Macau and last year was Phuket. I was indeed happy.
So for this year, I'm not going to make resolution to restrict myself.. *haha* I will try to complete or do more other stuff to make this year "A year of fulfillment" (doesn't mean alot more travelling ya BB - don't worry, won't drained out your wallet).

Loosing someone dear to our hearts!

BB's granny passed away on Friday afternoon (9 Jan, 09).
I was in shocked when BB told me (around 2-3pm) that granny admitted into hospital due to heart attack. I was speechless and when we hung up, I was asking God... "Why this time?" So I prayed and ask God to keep her safe and hoping that she would live till she sees her grandson (BB) married. Must have faith! I was carrying that hope and really wish to see her during our wedding day or even better... to see her great grandchildren. I haven't experience situation like these before as both side of my grandparents have already passed away. Don't even have that chance to meet them in person except my dad's father, who also passed away when I was young.
I was hoping I could give BB some support and suggest to go PG today (10 Jan, 09) by bus, but BB's parents says no need to trouble me.
Felt abit heartache when I saw the reply from BB, all I wish is to be there when BB is sad and who knows, he might need a shoulder to cry on. And also to pay my last respect to my future granny or to help in whatever area. I was so eager to packed my bag on Friday night after I came back from "Yeah Show!" at PGRM and I've even set my alarm clock to ring at 7am. I was really eager and I felt that I should be there too. In the end I listen to BB's parents and didn't go PG.
I really thank God that we managed to go visit her during my last trip to PG. Although its a short visit but it's still worth it.
I heard from BB that she passed away smiling. Which I'm sure everyone felt at ease cos there's not much of suffering. Which is a good thing lor.
I know everyone is going to miss her alot... especially BB and Erwinna cos they were brought up by her from a kampung house. I missed her too!
BB take care ok...

Monitor blew up!

*haha* Not so "kuah cheong" la... just exaggerating.

"What happen to my monitor?" you asked. Well, it happen yesterday during afternoon. I was just working like normal day and I was doing the prayer point slide for our Telagus Church (Kuching), editing the photo.

Just out of a sudden the monitor gave a "burst" sound, screen turn black and you can see smoke coming out from the back of it. I was shocked and quickly turn off the switch. I did not place anything on top of my monitor except my beanie dog and its been there for a week. And my monitor is a new one, wide LCD screen leh. *sigh*

Now I have to use Aunty M's monitor but thank God she didn't come today so I can used it temporary till my monitor come back.

Too bad I didn't snap a picture of my monitor... maybe next round la.

Happy New Year!!!

First off... Happy New Year to ALL my fellow bloggers and readers and also my BB... ^_^

Had a very long holiday with BB. Took leave from Dec 24, 08 to Jan 1, 09.

I came back from PG on New Year eve (Dec 31, 08), BB fetched me home and he spent his New Year in PJ. We left PG around 1+pm and reached home bout 6pm. "Why such long hours?" you asked. There's an accident at 417, we were stuck there for more than an hour, cause by a truck which over turns (3 lanes becomes 1 lane). We were supposed to reach home by 5pm and thought we could get some rest before we head out to 1 Utama for the countdown. Didn't get to rest much, reached home, drop the luggage and head to the showers and out we go. Manage to find a carpark and went for dinner at Canton-i. Food was ok but the drinks are over-rated. Too pricey. It's our first time to celebrate New Year eve at 1 Utama, previous years we went to Curve. Justin (HK artistes) was there, presented a few songs after the countdown and fireworks. Didn't get to see him upclose cos the place was so crowded.
I tell you... the fireworks was so awesome at 1 Utama. The view of it is so close to us (actually its TOO close to the audience), it was really amazing. All around, you can only hear people saying, "Wow!". But then hor, some of the people stand too close, they nearly got injured by the star dust. BB and I were like, "Hmm... we better back-off a little bit." ^_^
Spray cans and party foams were not allowed at 1 Utama, which I think its good, unlike Curve. For 2 yrs, we've been to Curve for New Year eve, the place is crazy. Some of the people use the spray cans even before the countdown. Some of them over played and got into fights. And I read the newspaper, some of them even got jailed for it... shaking passerbys car and spraying on their cars. *sigh* It's too much.

On Jan 1st, we went window shopping la. Nothing much. Walk around shopping malls..

Back to work on Jan 2, 09 and the funny thing is, I have 2 helpers with me (after lunch) but I don't have work for them to do. ^_^ I thought that we would have bulletin for the Combined Service on the first Sunday, that's why I asked my BB and my niece to come but to find out later before lunch that there won't be any bulletin. Well, they still accompany me in office. My niece still gets to use my notebook to play her games and BB also gets to check his emails and surf the web. I tried to finish off my work early, got home and we played badminton for awhile. Know what type of racket I used to play... the mosquito zapper! *haha* And my right hand is in pain cos that zapper is bit heavy and another thing is, I haven't been playing badminton for a long time. After dinner, went to this new Carrefour at Ken Damansara. Checking out the new mall.

On Sat, went to Pyramid. Walked for few hours and head to BK at Kelana Giant (cos its on the way) and after dinner, we went to meet my sis and her kids at Carrefour again. BB said, we are Mall hoppers. *haha*

Sunday, attended Service cos I was on duty. BB didn't go with me, he needs to sleep in cause he'll be going back to PG in the afternoon. After Sunday service, BB came to pick me up and we went to Fullhouse @ NZX for lunch. Head back home after a short walk around that place.

*sigh* Started to miss BB liau. Spent the longest holiday with him this round.. (12 days). Although we didn't travel to different States, its the time we spent together that matters. For now, I'm looking forward for the CNY holidays. ^_^ Need to apply leave before its too late.

Funny...

I came across this company name while waiting for BB at the car workshop. "What's the problem? If you're wondering" Well, if you know bit of hokkien (like me.. 'pun thung sui' = half water), you'll find it bit funny la...
hokkien "lim teh" = drink tea or yum cha (cantonese)
bahasa "pisang awak" = your banana (erm.. sounds abit obscene)

^_^ Funny or not ah?!?!? *hehe*

Christmas time... here to cheer our lives... lalala...

Wow! It's been a while since I last updated. One post in the beginning and one at the end. *haha*
It's been a busy month, I think. ^_^" Well, only the last 2 weeks la... cos need to complete all my work before I go on leave for Christmas. Imagine, need to finish off 2 weeks of bulletin in a week time but thank God that Uncle C manage to complete and also Pr R to give out his article on time.
Why am I so free to blog now? Cause bf is working lor. So I had some time to check facebook, do some HR work and also to blog. Wanna add some photos la... been missing out on pictures in my blog, very boring hor!
Nothing much la, just update on some cute babies that I met on Sunday (the baby that I've been wanting to meet in person..) and ... scroll down la to see.
First of all, we had Staff Lunch @ Atrium Cafe, Pyramid Tower on Dec 16th. Didn't enjoy much of the buffet cos I was having cough and it makes me hard to breathe, lungs was like filled with flam. But anyway, Thank God that I recover quickly and my Christmas eve dinner wasn't affected. *giggles*
The Staff of New Life. Missing out from Cheras Church... people that presence: Puchong (Chinese & English Church), Shah Alam (Chinese & English Church) & lastly...

The cutest baby.... let me introduce to you...
*drums rolling*
Isaac Cheah....Isn't he cute?? He's so adorable... really miss him so much....He's only 5 months old... *sigh* CUTE!!!!

Christmas eve, I had BBQ at BB's place. We had lamb, beef, chicken wings and salad. I didn't take picture of the food... busy eating that time. *hehe* Oh! BB's mom very smart, she burn the coals on the stove before placing it on the BBQ pit... she's so smart right.
Thank God for the wind, it's been windy throughout the night... so nice.**********
On Christmas day, we went window shopping @ Gurney Plaza. Wanna see the new wing, but found nothing much. I guess Queensbay Mall better, more things to see. ^_^ Then BB bought this as my Christmas present... This is not suppose to be Christmas present but he keep insisting. *sigh* Never mind la... Thank You BB.. *muaks* Wanted to post these picture up on facebook but asked not to. Malu I guess... *hehe***********
That's bout it. My next post will be on New Year Eve la...
Adios! Have a blessed New Year!!! Expect more to come in 2009!

SICK & TIRED!!!!!

I'm serious SICK & TIRED of the whole Access card system....!!!!
ARGH!!!!!!
Sitting and staring the front door isn't a good thing. I just don't understand why people still can't adjust the time of the system into their brain and why some people just don't carry their access card with them...!!!
WHY... WHY... WHY...!?!?!?!?!
I'm so darn angry now and so pissed and I feel like crying. We've been using the systems for more than a month now. Some weren't regular users also can adjust to it but why not my colleagues... which they have been facing this systems for a month plus.
*sigh*
Sorry Lord, do forgive me for it. I can't help it. Why not the staff take turns to sit at my place for a few weeks to get themselves adjust or at least let them feel how I feel when they are in my shoes.
And the crazy door's mechanism is spoiled after some people forced it open just because they thought the time wasn't 5pm yet. The guy came to fix it but it wasn't strong enough to hold it. So people still pushing the door without using their access card. I'm pissed because I have to keep reminding them and the annoying sound of the alarm really gets in my head.
Urgh!!!!!!!!!!
Ok.... I'm done with it. I will try my best not to be on my desk... but cannot!!!! I really don't know how.... how to convince "him" to use the access card daily leh....???? ~~hai~~~
