Lovin'It

BB and his family went to Genting on Friday night cos his dad has got this 3D 2N stay at Highland hotel. I went up by myself on Saturday morning - took the bus ride from 1 Utama at 9am. The earliest bus is at 8am and I reach 1U ard 8:30am. The cost of the bus is rm8.50, including Skyway ride. Not suppose to buy with the Skyway (cable car) lor... forgot to tell the guy, wasted rm5. I wanted to take the Skyway but BB don't allow. You know why la... he afraid the cable car might drop cos there's alot of report about the Skyway.
I reach Genting about 9:50am and I waited for BB at the Skyway lobby. Weather was cold... not that misty la. It's nice to go Genting once in awhile... to get away from the hot weather in PJ.
Nothing much to do la in Genting, we didn't go Theme Park nor the Casino, just walk around First World and played Motion Master, which not as excited as "those" days, with those excited ride on the edge... BB aggreed with me too. I don't mind going into the Theme Park but the entrance fees is too expensive. Need to go ask my sis, whether she have the buy 1 free 1 voucher for Theme Park.
The room in Highland Hotel was cool. Their toilet, bath tub and shower were separated... toilet and shower were in separate cubicle. So if you're there with another friend, you don't have to wait to use the toilet.. cool right!
BB fetch me home on Saturday night and stayed over at my place for a night. Cause I have to attend church service on Sunday *sigh* I have no choice cause 2 of my colleagues went back to hometown and I'm the only person who will be around to open up the doors and to lock them. If not I would love to stay a night in Genting lor. It rain at the right time cause we leave around 8:35pm and it started to drizzle and later poured like cats and dogs. Really chilling at that moment and misty.
BB went back to Genting on Sunday morning after we had breakfast nearby my church.
Anyway, I'm suppose to add some photos during New Year eve and also this Genting trip... I'm just lazy for that now. ^_^ Sorry la folks.
Happy Chinese New Year guys... Gong Hei Fatt Choy...!

Resolutions.....

Do I have one for this year? Well, its hard to say. I've had resolutions or let me re-phrase... I've had resolutions that never come to completions. Sad right! Either half complete or never at all.
So what am I writing this blog for, since I can't fulfill them anyway. ^_^
I do really want to stay focus to what I want to achieve in every year, saying is easier than doing. *HA*
I don't really know what I want and where I wanna be in 5 yrs time. All I can say is I'll probably be in PG but in terms of job... really don't know. I used to have resolutions like travel around 2-3 times a year, do something fun and experience different culture and atmosphere. Well, it didn't really come to past due to $$ (you know what I mean). Money is always the issue.
When I first started to work in a church office, I was glad and on the other side, I'm just a normal girl came out after High School who doesn't know anything bout office working life. Used to work as Sales girl in a Christian Bookshop before I came full time. I was also glad and did not regret in learning Microsoft office in 3mths. Yes! I did Microsoft Office in 3mths. Just the basics and that's where I develop an interest in power point and thank God for my colleagues who teaches me alot along the way. I was blessed.
After joining full time, passion starts to stir. Somehow Mission is on my mind but the same thing again... it's all about $$$. No money no talk and I'm that type of person who doesn't really save money. Saving money is not on my list. ^_^ But I did went for some Mission trip like Cambodia.
Only after I met BB, we started to travel to different places but not over the sea kind of trip - until last 2yrs ago, we travelled to HK & Macau and last year was Phuket. I was indeed happy.
So for this year, I'm not going to make resolution to restrict myself.. *haha* I will try to complete or do more other stuff to make this year "A year of fulfillment" (doesn't mean alot more travelling ya BB - don't worry, won't drained out your wallet).

Loosing someone dear to our hearts!

BB's granny passed away on Friday afternoon (9 Jan, 09).
I was in shocked when BB told me (around 2-3pm) that granny admitted into hospital due to heart attack. I was speechless and when we hung up, I was asking God... "Why this time?" So I prayed and ask God to keep her safe and hoping that she would live till she sees her grandson (BB) married. Must have faith! I was carrying that hope and really wish to see her during our wedding day or even better... to see her great grandchildren. I haven't experience situation like these before as both side of my grandparents have already passed away. Don't even have that chance to meet them in person except my dad's father, who also passed away when I was young.
I was hoping I could give BB some support and suggest to go PG today (10 Jan, 09) by bus, but BB's parents says no need to trouble me.
Felt abit heartache when I saw the reply from BB, all I wish is to be there when BB is sad and who knows, he might need a shoulder to cry on. And also to pay my last respect to my future granny or to help in whatever area. I was so eager to packed my bag on Friday night after I came back from "Yeah Show!" at PGRM and I've even set my alarm clock to ring at 7am. I was really eager and I felt that I should be there too. In the end I listen to BB's parents and didn't go PG.
I really thank God that we managed to go visit her during my last trip to PG. Although its a short visit but it's still worth it.
I heard from BB that she passed away smiling. Which I'm sure everyone felt at ease cos there's not much of suffering. Which is a good thing lor.
I know everyone is going to miss her alot... especially BB and Erwinna cos they were brought up by her from a kampung house. I missed her too!
BB take care ok...

Monitor blew up!

*haha* Not so "kuah cheong" la... just exaggerating.

"What happen to my monitor?" you asked. Well, it happen yesterday during afternoon. I was just working like normal day and I was doing the prayer point slide for our Telagus Church (Kuching), editing the photo.

Just out of a sudden the monitor gave a "burst" sound, screen turn black and you can see smoke coming out from the back of it. I was shocked and quickly turn off the switch. I did not place anything on top of my monitor except my beanie dog and its been there for a week. And my monitor is a new one, wide LCD screen leh. *sigh*

Now I have to use Aunty M's monitor but thank God she didn't come today so I can used it temporary till my monitor come back.

Too bad I didn't snap a picture of my monitor... maybe next round la.

Happy New Year!!!

First off... Happy New Year to ALL my fellow bloggers and readers and also my BB... ^_^

Had a very long holiday with BB. Took leave from Dec 24, 08 to Jan 1, 09.

I came back from PG on New Year eve (Dec 31, 08), BB fetched me home and he spent his New Year in PJ. We left PG around 1+pm and reached home bout 6pm. "Why such long hours?" you asked. There's an accident at 417, we were stuck there for more than an hour, cause by a truck which over turns (3 lanes becomes 1 lane). We were supposed to reach home by 5pm and thought we could get some rest before we head out to 1 Utama for the countdown. Didn't get to rest much, reached home, drop the luggage and head to the showers and out we go. Manage to find a carpark and went for dinner at Canton-i. Food was ok but the drinks are over-rated. Too pricey. It's our first time to celebrate New Year eve at 1 Utama, previous years we went to Curve. Justin (HK artistes) was there, presented a few songs after the countdown and fireworks. Didn't get to see him upclose cos the place was so crowded.
I tell you... the fireworks was so awesome at 1 Utama. The view of it is so close to us (actually its TOO close to the audience), it was really amazing. All around, you can only hear people saying, "Wow!". But then hor, some of the people stand too close, they nearly got injured by the star dust. BB and I were like, "Hmm... we better back-off a little bit." ^_^
Spray cans and party foams were not allowed at 1 Utama, which I think its good, unlike Curve. For 2 yrs, we've been to Curve for New Year eve, the place is crazy. Some of the people use the spray cans even before the countdown. Some of them over played and got into fights. And I read the newspaper, some of them even got jailed for it... shaking passerbys car and spraying on their cars. *sigh* It's too much.

On Jan 1st, we went window shopping la. Nothing much. Walk around shopping malls..

Back to work on Jan 2, 09 and the funny thing is, I have 2 helpers with me (after lunch) but I don't have work for them to do. ^_^ I thought that we would have bulletin for the Combined Service on the first Sunday, that's why I asked my BB and my niece to come but to find out later before lunch that there won't be any bulletin. Well, they still accompany me in office. My niece still gets to use my notebook to play her games and BB also gets to check his emails and surf the web. I tried to finish off my work early, got home and we played badminton for awhile. Know what type of racket I used to play... the mosquito zapper! *haha* And my right hand is in pain cos that zapper is bit heavy and another thing is, I haven't been playing badminton for a long time. After dinner, went to this new Carrefour at Ken Damansara. Checking out the new mall.

On Sat, went to Pyramid. Walked for few hours and head to BK at Kelana Giant (cos its on the way) and after dinner, we went to meet my sis and her kids at Carrefour again. BB said, we are Mall hoppers. *haha*

Sunday, attended Service cos I was on duty. BB didn't go with me, he needs to sleep in cause he'll be going back to PG in the afternoon. After Sunday service, BB came to pick me up and we went to Fullhouse @ NZX for lunch. Head back home after a short walk around that place.

*sigh* Started to miss BB liau. Spent the longest holiday with him this round.. (12 days). Although we didn't travel to different States, its the time we spent together that matters. For now, I'm looking forward for the CNY holidays. ^_^ Need to apply leave before its too late.
